Pork Loin with Prosciutto, Fontina, and Sage

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2013
I didn't have a pork loin roast so I used pork chops, sliced a pocket into the side and filled with stuffing. And wrapped in Prosciutto. Turned out well, I think next time I will marinate the pork chops in something, they weren't dry but on the verge!

Herbed Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2013
I was not actually home, when this was done, I had a meeting, but everyone LOVED IT!! There were claims on the small turkey dinner, etc. If my fam loves it, it was a great recipe!! I LOVED how easy it was to assemble, and can't wait to enjoy it myself, everyone wants it in the rotation!!

Deer Poppers

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2013
I have taken this to potlucks, made it at home, everyone has loved it! I added one slice of purple onion, and the cream cheese in the jalapeno, but everything else has been the same! I have done it on the BBQ and in the oven, it's a great recipe, especially for those of us OFTEN cooking venison, I know I like to kick it up a notch! This is great in the rotation!!

Slow-Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2013
It's a great recipe, often I skip the beer, as we're not beer drinkers, but other then that, I LOVE this recipe, it's easy and it's one of my husband's favourite meals!!

Slow Simmer Beef Stew

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2013
I have to say I enjoyed this recipe, I made it for one of my clients, she's elderly and lives alone. So I cut back on the ingrediants. I think it made her day, having something hot cooking on the oven, and it smelled, well like "home!" She enjoyed telling me stories while I chopped and cooked. I did it on the stove also, I prefer to do all my cooking on the stove. My only change was I chopped everything very very small. It was great, I will definetly make this again! I loved the difference the searing the meat did!! Thanks!!

Zesty Porcupine Meatballs

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2012
Tweaked the sauce recipe, substituted 57 Sauce with the worcestershire sauce. Didn't use the whole amount, just a dash and a bit of vinegar, but it turned out great!! Also baked it, as I couldn't cook ALL the meatballs at once in a pan. Was fantastic, not a single leftover!! Great recipe!!

Marinated Pork Chops

The flavour was awesome, and since its cold outside, I broiled them about 6-7 mins per side, on high, and they turned out fantastic!! My husband and kids loved them, and wanted more! Definetly going to be keeping this recipe for "My Rotation" lol!!

Latin Roasted Picnic Shoulder

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2012
My most fav Pork recipe of all time. It's relatively easy to make and it's definitely a different type of roast. Trying it tomorrow with White Wine Vinegar, not too sure if it will make a difference, but I'll post any new findings.

Doc's Best Beef Jerky

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2012
My husband and kids LOVED THIS RECIPE, we are a hunter family however so I used Deer, Moose, Sheep and Mountain goat, and they are worked out great! I let the Sheep and Goat marinade longer, and extra day, because it is a little different to cook with. But everyone was greatly impressed with this recipe!! The only thing I didn't have on hand was the liquid smoke, but since I've done this a few times without it seems unnecessary to add it now. Thank you so much!!

Lemon Garlic Tilapia

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2012
This was really great! I didn't have Tilapia, I had Pickeral, but it was fantastic, I used the baking in tin foil method as I didn't want to lose any moisture, my kids and I loved it, ate every last piece!!
