Buttermilk Pancakes I

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2011
Really yummy fluffy pancakes--have used this recipe a long time now! I never have buttermilk on hand but always have sour cream, so my pancakes are always sour cream cakes rather than butter milk. I just use almost a cup of milk (don't make too runny) and 1/4 cup sour cream. The pancakes melt in your mouth. :o) Thanks for a great, easy recipe!

Baked Bar-be-Que Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2010
I've been making bbqed chicken this way for years and boost the flavor by drizzling molasses over the chicken after the bbq sauce step. I also use boneless, skinless chicken breasts.

Donut Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2010
Followed the recipe exactly and ended up with 24 wonderful little mini gems! YUMMY! My son said through a stuffed mouth that they were really good, so there's a kid's perspective, too. Definitely one of those easy recipes that makes people think you are a whiz in the kitchen. Love that. :o)

Streusel Coffee Cake

Reviewed: May 9, 2010
I thought this was really good. It got a lot of compliments when I took it for a teacher appreciation week snack. I used heavy whipping cream in the glaze rather than milk and spread the "frosting" just on the top part. It tasted yummy. And the frosting I will use on cinnamon rolls. :) Good recipe. Will make again.

Islander Artichoke and Spinach Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2010
This stuff is AWESOME! I made it recently for a bridal shower. Everyone thought it was delicious. The dip is wonderful and really set off the sweetness of the Hawaiian bread. I made the recipe as written but didn't bother to heat the dip or toast the bread this time--will probably do that when I make it in the fall and winter months. A definite keeper and so easy to make!

Sweet and Sour Meatloaf

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2006
My family really enjoys this recipe so I have put it into the rotation. Instead of the breadcrumbs, I use croutons to give the meat more flavor. Really yummy!
