Baked Honey Mustard Chicken

I made this for dinner tonight. After reading some other tweaks I used Dijon. I didn't have dried basil, so I used dried savory 2 TBS rubbed to powder. I also added a splash of Worcestershire. I scored the chicken breasts used a baking dish so the chicken just barely fit. I put the marinade in the baking dish then rubbed the salt and pepper into the chicken then coated the breasts both sides then covered with plastic wrap and marinade overnight. The sweet savory mustard flavor was wonderful. I served with yams and vinaigrette salad. Thank you for the great recipe

Homemade Flour Tortillas

My husbands mother use to make the most outstanding flour tortillas she passed away long ago, I lost most of my recipes I had from her. she never measured anything but I got to a point I could make them pretty darn good. So many years have passed since even attempting to make flour tortillas. When I saw this recipe with the lard I knew it was the same. Thank you for sharing. I will be making soon and just know they will be wonderful. Just reading some other comments interesting how many people still use margarine People (margarine is horrible for you it will kill faster than the small amount of lard used) that being said for all the folks using Crisco shortening try the lard just once to see the difference. Also I am a weight watcher and at 24 tortillas with no changes is 2 points each

Simple Roasted Butternut Squash

Love butternut squash always look for new twists. Fabulous I found using the organic already cut into cubes is just as good, much easier. Now I only buy the whole butternut squash when I am going to bake and serve in the shell. This recipe was a hit.

Roasted New Red Potatoes

I have been making small red and Yukon gold are also a good potato to use. The picture show it with what I assume is parsley which wasn't added to the recipe. Fresh chopped is best and I usually toss it in a few minutes before potatoes are done, maybe the last 1-2 minutes. Adds a nice flavor.
