Very Easy Fruit Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2006
Took this to a potluck and it got great reviews. I added pineapple chunks, and mandarin oranges (make sure to omit the juice). It was wonderful and the glaze from the peaches makes it look very fancy!

Restaurant-Style Coleslaw I

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2003
YUM!! This coleslaw is wonderful! I made a batch for a cookout we had this weekend and I made another batch for Father's Day. It was a hit at both gatherings. I made it exactly like the recipe said and then threw in some blue cheese crumbles. Tastes just like the blue cheese coleslaw at a popular local restaurant.

Swink's Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2004
This chili was wonderful and so easy to make! And just like another reviewer, I thought it tasted just like the chili at Wendy's. I made it exactly as the recipe called for and was very pleased with the results!

Black Bean Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 25, 2004
This was very, very good! My husband absolutely loved it! He even told his co-workers about it! The only change I made was to use 3 cans of beans and I let the soup simmer for about an hour and a half. I will be making this dish again

WONDERFUL!! I followed the recipe exactly as written except that I baked it in an 11x7 dish for 25 minutes. My husband was raving about this cornbread! I will be making it again!

Jalapeno Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2004
This recipe was wonderful! My picky husband's comment after his first bite was, "Very, very tasty!". After he finished the meal he said that was one of the best things I have made in a while and that we should have it again! I will definitely add this to my permanent rotation! The dish was spicy yet sweet. A really nice combination.

Hamburger Soup I

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2003
This soup was very tasty. I did make a few changes though. I omitted the celery and added a package of frozen peas instead. The diced tomatoes and tomato sauce I used were preflavored with basil and onion. I also added 2 teaspoons of Paul Prudhomme's Meat Seasoning. I let it simer for 2 and a half hours so it was nice and thick when I served it. My husband loved this soup. I will be making this on a regular basis this winter!

Hot Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2005
This was delicious! I used marinated artichoke hearts and jalapenos instead of pimento as other reviewers suggested. It had a nice little kick to it. I took it to Bunco and the ladies loved it. I doubled the recipe and it was all eaten! YUM!

Pepperoncini Beef

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2003
This was so easy to prepare and extremely tasty! I used banana peppers instead of pepperconcini and it turned out great! I spread horseradish sauce on hoagie rolls and topped the rolls with the beef, the peppers and provolone. I put the sandwiches under the broiler to melt the cheese. My husband loved the sandwiches and I am looking forward to the leftovers tomorrow night! Thanks JOYCE for an easy AND tasty dish!!
