Macadamia Nut Crusted Tilapia

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2010
This has been added to the regular rotation. I followed everything to the letter except I added about 1/4tsp of curry. I also baked it for 6 minutes at 400 and broiled it for an additional 2 minutes on low. The fish was just a touch overdone, but I think it's because I overcooked it while defrosting it. Otherwise, it would have been perfect. I served with Garlic couscous and egg drop soup (with curry). DELISH!

Tomato-Basil Zucchini

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2008
This definitely has potential. I used a can of Tomato Soup and it was too salty and it tasted way too much like the soup. I'm definitely going to try this again with fresh tomatos, and I think it will be great!

Drunken Grilled Asparagus

Reviewed: May 28, 2007
Very good! I was short a couple ingredients, so instead of Burgundy I used white cooking wine and no brown mustard so I just used regular. I marinated this for about 3 hours in a big plastic bag, flipping it over whenever I went to the fridge. I also used the remainder of the sauce and poured it over the cooked asparagus. Mine didn't lose any of the sauces flavor. The only complaint was that it was a little undercooked, but that wasn't the recipes fault! Awesome!

Penne, Tomato, and Mozzarella Salad

Reviewed: May 28, 2007
Taking my cues from the other reviewers, I made a lot of changes to this and it turned out great! Added some toasted pine nuts, green olives, garlic salt, and white wine vinegar. I also decided to leave this as a cold dish. Besides all the modifications, this is a great base to start your pasta salad with!

Cedar Plank-Grilled Salmon with Garlic, Lemon and Dill

Reviewed: May 28, 2007
I think it may have just been my fault, but this was not as good as I had hoped. I've never cooked anything on a cedar plank before, so it may have just been me, but it was way too dry for my taste. Perhaps if you just didn't cook it for as long. The sauce, on the other hand was great! I wish I could give it more stars, but this just wasn't that amazing.

Honeyed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2007
I don't know what I did wrong, but I was not at all impressed with this recipe. I did half it, so that might have been the problem. The pork was dry and the sauce was watery and didn't stick to the chops at all.

Cheesy Potato Soup II

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2007
Great soup! I also used chicken broth instead of water and it turned out awesome. Didn't have any celery, so I added a little celery salt instead. Perfect for my husband with a sore throat. :)

Dog Treats II

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2007
Needless to say, my dog absolutely loved these. I didn't have rolled oats so I just used some raisin & spice oatmeal and I also used grape jelly instead of apple. No complaints from puppy though, every single crumb has been cleaned up. Your recipe sure made me the hero today!

Kabobs

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2006
Great! I used KC Masterpiece Honey Teriyaki Marinade (so I didn't add the extra honey) and they turned out absolutely delicious! My husband requested these at least once a week from now on. :)

Pork Chops with Raspberry Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2006
This recipe is a lifesaver!!! I needed something kind of sophisticated for my inlaws and this was perfect. Even my mother-in-law complimented me! I made the sauce the night before and it was wonderful. I just put the sauce on the table and let people put it on at will. There was nothing left!!! Will definitely makee again.
