Baked Potato Salad II

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2008
This was great! I left out the olives and used American cheese singles - that way, I had the flavor the recipe intended, but was able to make it into much smaller pieces.

BBQ Pork Sandwiches

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2008
This was delicious. I didn't grill it at the end and used a spice rub at the beginning. I also added some liquid smoke to my bottled BBQ sauce.

Chicken Enchiladas II

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2008
Great recipe. I had left over cheese sauce from a Mexican restaurant, so I topped it with that instead of adding the cheddar. It was really good. Refried beans on the side made it even better.

The Real Mojito

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2008
We used vodka, which was really good - it's probably great with rum too. I strained ours though, because I don't like pulp.

Tomato Cucumber Salad with Mint

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2008
I left out the sugar and switched basil for the mint. Although I'm sure it's great with mint, I prefer basil. make sure you use a really good extra virgin olive oil.

Corn Dip II

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2008
Great recipe! The proportions are perfect. Good warm, but I think it was better before I baked it. **UPDATE** Made this recipe to a tee - it's perfect - don't change a ting, besides the seasonings to your taste.

Portuguese Chicken I

Reviewed: May 19, 2008
This is a regular in my house. I use boneless skinless breasts for convenience and to cut out some calories, but I bet it's better the original way.

Grilled Garlic Artichokes

Reviewed: May 19, 2008
These were fabulous. I've been eating artichokes since I was very young the traditional way - boiling them. This was the first time I've tried them grilled, and they had a different flavor - so great!

Easy Yet Romantic Filet Mignon

Reviewed: May 19, 2008
I changed it up a bit, but the steaks turned out so flavorful! Onion powder is such a good idea. I grilled them and didn't use shallots.

Marinated Greek Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: May 16, 2008
This was really good! I used a little bit of the marinade for dipping sauce. Yummy! I just used regular feta, but I bet it would be better with the sun dried tomato.

Breakfast Casserole II

Reviewed: May 12, 2008
I took the suggestion of another reviewer and layered it instead of mixing it together. I dont think that made a difference. I think it could have used more sausage and cheese, and I never use canned mushrooms. Other than that it was delicious.

Cabbage Fat-Burning Soup

Reviewed: May 5, 2008
This tastes great for diet soup, and I didn't even have enough V-8! I had about 2 cups for lunch and was really full. I'm planning on just eating this for the next 3 days, so I'll come back to post if I lose any weight. ** Update ** Three days later, and I lost 4 pounds!

Vienna Schnitzel

Reviewed: May 1, 2008
The proportions of this recipe are perfect. I'm always wasting flour, eggs and breadcrumbs when I guess. I used thin pork chops which worked perfectly. For a gravy I used the leftover sauce from "Beef Tips and Noodles" from this site. It was so tasty!
