Baked Buffalo Wings

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2012
This recipe is great for the seasoning mix! Make sure the chicken is patted dry before dredging in the seasoning. I also refrigerated for about 2 hours. Another modification was that I added the chicken drippings to the hot sauce mix after baking, and sauced the wings after baking them, just to ensure that they didn't get soggy. Mine turned out amazingly yummy!

Killer Shrimp Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2012
I moved to NYC and just about died when I heard that Killer Shrimp was closed! My husband never believed me about the awesomeness of this broth until I made it. Now he's a devotee and we make this at least once a year for Oscar night. The broth is even great with chicken. Always remember to save some to use later!

Traci's Adobo Seasoning

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2012
I used this on boneless chicken thighs and used the meat in nachos. Everyone raved about the amazing flavor of the chicken. I recommend using this blend in a marinade or slow cooker recipe!

Duck with Honey, Soy, and Ginger

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2013
I use this recipe to prep duck when I make Duck Fried Rice at Christmastime. It's a great way to do it because the flavors aren't overpowering, and cooking the duck this way the night before really gets the flavor profile just right!

Classic Spanish Sangria

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2013
Made this with spiced rum and it was amazing! What really made it a treat was having leftover drunken fruit, draining the dregs. Yes, it's very strong, but the citrus component really makes it nice and smooth.

Roasted Rack of Lamb

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2013
Making this recipe for the 4th time tonight! Love how the Dijon compliments the meat. My only tweak is that because I am celiac, I use gluten-free breadcrumbs or GF cornflake crumbs. Using the cornflake crumbs gives it a wonderful flavor...the crust can't be beat! How can you go wrong with garlic, breadcrumbs and rosemary? YUM!

Peach Cobbler I

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2012
This recipe was so easy! I did make a couple of tweaks after reading other reviews though. I used less butter (about 3 Tbs) and substituted the flour with a gluten-free blend (as I am celiac). This didn't affect anything as it came out superb! Also, I mixed the cinnamon in with the peaches and also used a little brown sugar in there too. Such a wonderful summer dessert!

Bacon-Wrapped Chicken with Cheese sauce

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2012
I love this recipe for its simplicity. Make sure to whisk the sauce as much as possible to avoid lumps.
