Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

Delicious and easy to make. Used my kitchenaid mixer with the dough hook and turned out perfect. Used a little extra flour to get it off hook and shaped without sticking but the dough didn't get tough. Saved this as my go-to quick pizza dough, yay!

Quick Yeast Rolls

Great rolls! Easy and delicious, used butter instead of shortening in a pinch but no extra flour. Used ice cream scooper to get them in muffin tin because its a very sticky and stretchy dough and turned out awesome, soft and tender. Made 12 rolls that we devoured!!! Also used about half of sugar since I didn't want them sweet. I've made these as 6 hamburger buns too! Got huge and a bit flat but still worked and soooo much better than regular buns!

Peanut Butter Cookies IV

Delicious! Wonderful flavor and texture, best homemade peanut butter cookies i've tasted. Easy to make, still soft next day(in ziplock). Tip:sprinkle on a tiny bit chopped peanut just on top before scoring with fork, soooo good. I didn't roll in extra sugar FYI.

Janine's Best Banana Bread

Awesome, exactly the flavor I wanted! Moist, sweet, great banana taste. Warm from the oven with butter=heaven! This replaced my old recipe card from years ago that I had lost so was so relieved to find this recipe! Thanks for sharing!

Unbelievable Popovers

Loved these-accidentally made easier! Mix batter, spray cold muffin tin with pam, put pat of butter in each of 8-9 cups, then pour batter right over butter to half full. Bake at 450 for 15 mins, then 375 for 10 to 15 or until as browned as u like. The butter melts and rises to surface as it bakes, just like when you melt it first. These were just right, brown and a bit crisp on outside, soft and tender on inside.

Kentucky Biscuits

Wonderful! Light, super fluffy, tender. Exactly what I was looking for. Had to use a bit more buttermilk than recipe called for to get it to set up and combine. Also used frozen butter that I grated with box grater, then used pastry blender just a bit. Was a small pain but worth it. Patted it into a rectangle on my floured granite, folded into thirds a few times and reformed. Cut into 12 squares with a pastry cutter and baked all touching. So good with Amish butter and honey!!! Next time I'll add a touch more salt to the dough.

Basic Pasta

First time making pasta! Doubled recipe, added a little water plus dribble of olive oil. Used my mixer and hook to mix/knead it and let it rest in the bowl abt 30 mins (while I made a carbonara sauce, yum). I don't have a pasta machine-just used a rolling pin on floured mat to roll super thin. Then I cut into strips with a pizza cutter. I worked in batches instead of rolling out the whole ball of dough at once. I piled the strips on a floured paper plate while I finished all the dough and it was fine, did not stick together. This was easier than I thought and had a really good flavor. Boil in salted water for about 30 seconds to 1 minute and it's done! So good, will make again for sure. Made enough for four good bowls of pasta and sauce.

Restaurant-Quality Baked Potato Soup

Excellent! One of best potato soups I've had. My kids went nuts for it, especially with lots of sharp cheddar and bacon on top. After reading some reviews, used 3 potatoes and only 1 c flakes, plus added dash garlic powder. Try this one for sure!

Tuna Fish Cakes

Delicious! Made the onion, lemon, mozzarella version with mayo instead of miracle whip. I also used milk instead of water. Kids loved them, will make again for sure.
