Ranch Dressing II

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2003
Bottled dressings aren't even close to hanging with this homemade version! I loved it! I used buttermilk and also used fresh chives. It is imperative to let it chill in the fridge for a while. Just after making it, I tried it and it tasted "mayonnaisey." But after three hours it just tasted great! Thanks for the recipe, it is definetly a keeper.

Buffalo Chicken Fingers

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2003
Followed the recipe exactly. Near the end of cooking, I melted 1/2 stick of butter with 6 oz. Crystal hot sauce. I then tossed the chicken with this just before serving. With this change, I would up it to five stars! It tastes great. If spicy is your thing, do not put as much butter in the hot sauce. A 1/2 stick of butter and 6 oz. of hot sauce gives that "buffalo chicken" flavor without the very spicy taste.

Homemade Crispy Seasoned French Fries

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2003
Very good! My fiance loved them. However, they were a little messy while making them. I will indeed make them again. When I do, I will heat two pans of oil and make two batches at a time. They sat and got a little soggy as I was preparing other courses for the meal. Thanks for the recipe!!

Barbecue Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2003
This recipe was great. I also cooked the chuck roast in the crock pot for about 4 1/2 hours. We made it for four people (everyone loved it) and have still had leftovers for lunch for a week straight, and I'm not tired of it yet! I top mine with a slice of pepper-jack cheese.

The Perfect Rib Eye Marinade

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2003
Used with sirloin and was still very tasty. The red wine vinager was obviously quite potent, I used a little less than the 12 oz. called for. It was a unique taste that is fitting for a summer day. Definetly give it a try!
