Quinoa Pudding

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2003
Mine came out very acidicbitter tasting (kind of like tangy apple cider) My husband said that boiling apple juice ferments it and makes it bitter. I also think the lemon juice contributed to the acidic taste. I ended up putting in a bunch of soy milk and raw sugar at the end and that kind of mellowed it out a little. I will probably make this again but I will use soy milk and raw suger (kind of like the way I make rice pudding).

Sean's Falafel and Cucumber Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2003
INCREDIBLE!! At first I wasn't sure how it was going to come out after tasting the mix before cooking it, but it came out delicous! I browned it on both sides with PAM and then baked it in the oven at 400 for 25 min (like an earlier review suggested) Then I put two patties into a pita pocket, smeared some of the cucumber sauce into the pita with the patties and sprinked some diced tomatoes into it also, it was so delicious! The sauce really makes it awesome. Thanks so much for the great recipe - this is one I will be making again and again :)

Trout Amandine

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2003
This deserves more than 5 stars, it was the BEST fish I have ever had! I normally don't even like fish but my husband brought home some trout so I got this recipe for him to use and I could not believe how good this was!! We are having it again this week - Thank you so much for this recipe, it has made a fish lover out of me!!

Apple Banana Smoothie

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2003
Very good! The Gala apples made it a little too tart for my taste, I think I will use sweeter apples next time, but will definitely make this again - very healthy, easy and tasty!

Kay's Spaghetti and Lasagna Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2003
Very good! I cut the bell peppers, onion and garlic down a bit and added mushrooms and black and green olives and it was EXCELLENT, my whole family loved it! Oh and it makes a LOT, I froze a huge bowl of it and have another medium size bowl in the fridge AFTER 4 people ate it last night (but that is a good thing because it means we get more delicious meals in the future with no cooking, just heat and serve!)

VERY good! My husband used to make this but on a Hmaburger bun, using pita bread is SO much better! This was quick, easy and tasted great!

Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2003
This was so good! I mixed in a lot of raisins which gave it even more texture and sweetness, the whole pot was gone in less than a day, my kids were in heaven!! I will double the recipe next time because it was gone so fast!
