Mexican Lasagna II
Great dish. I added some other touches as others recommended. I sautéed 1 small onion, 3 cloves of minced garlic, salt & pepper. As the meat was browning, I added onion powder, Goya All-Purpose Seasoning w/out pepper, cumin, 2 cilantro bullion cubes. I followed the directions on the taco seasoning package (mix 3/4 cup of water & taco seasoning). Instead of water, I used beef stock and 1 can of beans. I then added the chopped tomatoes and let it all simmer for about 5 min. I used bow tie pasta only because I didn't have any tortillas on hand. I layered the dish with the meat sauce on the pan, pasta, meat sauce, cheese. I repeated the layer 1 more time. I found there wasn't enough meat to cover it all. I would probably use 1 1/2 lb beef next time. It was delish!

Army SOS Creamed Ground Beef
This was pretty good. My family liked it. Like others commented, ground beef tends to be bland so extra seasoning is a must. I sautéed a whole small onion with salt and pepper and 2 cilantro bouillon. I added 2 pound ground beef since that's what I had. Seasoned again with a little more salt and pepper. I brown my meat on medium heat and not stir very much. I find if I brown it higher than that and stir to much, the meat tends to toughen. It does take a bit longer to cook but worth the wait. Once browned, I added 3 cloves of minced garlic and let it cook 1-2 minutes. I used 1/2 cup flour since I had 2 lb meat. I was able to use the same amount of liquid measurements the recipe calls for (2 1/4 cup milk, 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce). It was the perfect amount even though I had more meat. I served over white jasmine rice. Nice quick dish for a weeknight meal. Thank you!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies
Amazing Cookies Ever! This is by far the best cookies I've ever had. My kids and I made these cookies for Santa with a tall glass of milk! They were so soft and delicious. I made the following changes to the recipe as SVROSS mentioned: Add 2 teasp. of baking powder, 1/2 teasp. salt and 2 TABLESPOONS VANILLA. I used mini chocolate chips. Anything mini is always a plus for me since my kids are little ones. I also made sure the butter was very soft. I placed golf sized pieces on a baking sheet and baked for 12 minutes. Thanks for this awesome recipe. This is definitely a staple recipe in my family!
