Apple Raisin French Toast Strata

Trust me, you will not be disappointed. I was worried when I saw some of the reviews. I added the apple pie filling and vanilla as suggested, not as much creme cheese, and left the rest as is. It is delish. The staff at my school loved it, and the whole thing was gone in a matter of minutes. I will use this recipe again. Thank you.

Nauvoo Gingerbread Cookies

I've tried different recipes for gingerbread in the past, but I like this one the best. It is good. I gave out the recipe about 10 times last holiday season. This is going to be my go to recipe from now on. Thanks.

Meatloaf with Fried Onions and Ranch Seasoning

The boys and my husband said they never want meatloaf any other way. This after they normally haven't liked it in the past. My mom said she tried it, and everyone at her house said it was delish. Thank you.

Asian Coconut Rice

The kids and I ate this and really liked it. My hubbie wasn't crazy about it, but said it was ok. Really, make sure and bring it to a boil over MEDIUM heat. I think it would burn if on HIGH. It didn't take but 15 minutes or so at very low, and that's at high altitude. Be careful or you may burn it.

Slow Cooker Pepper Steak

Potato Leek Soup III

Yummy. I thought I had heavy cream, but I was out. Substitute whole milk, and crossed my fingers. Mom loved it. Boys loved it. Husband dug it, and I think the only think that would have made it better was the heavy cream. I cut way back on the butter as suggested and only using half. It's a keeper. Thanks
