Simple BBQ Ribs

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2012
Simple, tender, tasty. Perfect. My mom has always boiled her ribs, but I never paid attention to what she did next. This must be it. Great recipe and technique.

White Chocolate and Cranberry Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2011
Definitely on the sweet side. But, it's such an easy cookie to make and very pretty for the holidays. I brought them to work today, it's 10:30 and I've already received several good reviews. I'm thinking if you cut down on the chips it might not be as sweet. I might try that next time.

This was literally gone within 5 minutes of serving it up. So easy and so delicious! I didn't change anything and it turned out perfect.

Chicken Milano

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2011
Yep! Definitely the flavor you get from a restaurant and about as easy as it gets. I made it even easier by making the sauce and using store-bought rotisserie chicken. A very good pasta recipe.

Slider-Style Mini Burgers

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2011
These were awesome. I didn't have any mayo in the house so used half a can of cheddar cheese soup instead. They tasted great! Will definitely make again...especially the next time I'm to bring an appetizer to a party.

Chewy Cocoa Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2011
Holy chocolately goodness! I made these as written except without nuts (and possibly a different brand of cocoa). They are the perfect brownie. I wouldn't change a thing.

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2010
This is where the phrase "Easy as Pie" comes from. This was the easiest, tastiest pie I've made. My only change was to use an Oreo crust as opposed to a graham cracker crust. Made it for a peanut butter pie lover and he was extremely happy with the outcome. Will probably be making this again for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Unbelievable Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2010
I was skeptical because I don't like mustard, but I went ahead and made this anyway. It was very good. I made exactly as written except I didn't have 8 hours. I only marinated for about 45 minutes and it still turned out wonderful. Will definitely throw this together again.

Fresh Strawberry Upside Down Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2010
Made this for the Memorial Day picnic and it was enjoyed by all. Very good , moist cake. The marshmallows get soaked into the cake batter and create a dense, flavorful cake. I took a poll and we decided on 4 stars. Will definitely make again, maybe with blueberries or raspberries.

Cafeteria Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2003
Great warm-weather comfort food! It sounded like it had the potential to come out greasy because of the 3 1/2 cups of Cheddar, so I used half Cheddar and half Kraft Melts (4 cheese combo). It turned out nice and creamy and not runny as others might have mentioned. Keep in mind, when measuring pasta, they don't mean 8 fluid oz (or 1 cup). They mean 1/2 pound. I think this is what confused some people.

French Tomato Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2003
I enjoyed this soup. I was in a bit of a time crunch, so instead of using fresh tomatos and potatos I used about 7-8 canned whole tomatos and 3/4 of a can of sliced potatos. I also used the liquid from the tomatos in place of some of the water. Using canned veggies cut the first cooking time down quite a bit since the veggies didn't have to soften. I also added about a tablespoon of beef boullion granuals toward the end for a little more flavor. I'll make this again.
