About this Cook
American, living in Germany (Frankfurt) married to a Brazilian. Three tri-lingual children who all like to eat! My wife is the better cook, but we compliment one another as we have specilized in different areas. We both just love to try new things.
My favorite things to cook
Thanksgiving turkey, Enchiladas. Indonasian Chicken. Everything where both my wife and I cook together (too much for one person all alone!) ...and that makes it the most fun. Triumphs shared are twice as good!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Thanksgiving Turkey! Invite our German freinds to participate in this American tradition. ..and they think that they don't like Pumpkin pie! ...until they try it!!!
My cooking triumphs
Quite a few of the reciepes that I have gotten from this website have turned out very well. Especially when two recipes are combined together and refined to a masterpiece. Like my Thanksgiving Turkey with cornbread stuffing!! They make me cook the same thing EVERY year!!
My cooking tragedies
No real tradedies....yet!

Brandied Candied Sweet Potatoes
This is very good, however each year we cook the sweet potatoes less and less and it gets better and better.
