Easy Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2014
My fiance said this is possibly the best meatloaf he's had. My mods (lifted from many previous reviews): sauteed the onion with a little bit of butter first, threw a few squirts of Worcestershire in the meat mixture, and used Italian-seasoned bread crumbs. I thought the amount of sauce was perfect. I will definitely make this again.

Manicotti

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2013
I'm not a huge manicotti fan, but my fiance asked me to make it for him, so I used this recipe because I already had most of the ingredients on hand and it seemed easy. IT WAS REALLY GOOD!!!! I've had manicotti that had some pretty bland ricotta mixture and this was definitely not bland - I did add some oregano, just for good measure. I'll make this again, and I'll reconsider my previous views on manicotti. :)

Quick and Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2013
Great recipe and so easy! I used frozen egg noodles (Reames, but I'm sure any will do). It's easy enough that I think if/when I get sick, I can just throw it together (or direct my dear fiance to do so). I'll make this again, for sure, especially when it's chilly outside.

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2013
Loved this marinade! My fiance and I are steak-lovers, and this was the perfect platform. One mod - I rarely have fresh lemons on hand, so I used 'Real Lemon' instead. Worked like a charm!

The Most Easy and Delish Meatloaf EVER!

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2013
I loved this meatloaf and my boyfriend did too! I didn't have Ritz crackers, so I used Italian seasoned bread crumbs (between 1.5 and 2 cups). After reading previous reviews, I did decide to drain the Rotel and I'm glad I did because it turned out fantastic. I glazed the loaf about 15 minutes before it was done baking with a mixture of Worchestershire, ketchup, and brown sugar. My BF doesn't spare me the truth when my cooking turns out less than yummy, so I know for sure that this was a good one!

Marinated Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2012
Yum! My boyfriend and I just grilled butterfly pork chops for the first time and we used this recipe. It was delish!!! A couple of substitutions (purely out of necessity): dry mustard instead of prepared mustard (had none prepared, haha), and I wasn't sure what kind of vinegar the recipe meant, so I used the only kind I had - balsalmic. The chops turned out fantastic! We're going to try this marinade on steaks next; I'm sure it'll be fantastic.
