Braccialoni

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2004
This is a good recipie, however, adding some rosemary to the bread crumbs is recommended. Also, rather than use prociutto, pancetta, an Italian bacon delivers even better results. Personally, I feel that dried out store bought bread crumbs are tasteless. Just pop a couple of slices of italian bread with seasonings including parmesean cheese in a food processor, and you have a much, much better result. Also, commercial spaghetti sauce, unless of good quality, tends to be salty and pungent. Make your own...

Chocolate Pudding Fudge Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2003
This recipie has been around quite a long time with slightly different variations. I suggest adding some toasted almonds or walnuts. Another nice touch is to add a couple of tbsp. of almond extract and/or flavoured liquor such as Tia Maria to the wet ingredients as well as a touch to the chocolate glaze. Many commented that the cake was indeed dense and rich. A cup of chocolate chips is quite enough is more than enough.

Streusel Apple Coffeecake

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2003
I have made this cake 3 times and it is without a doubt WONDERFUL !! To add an extra flavor boost I added the grated rind of a lemon to the batter and used double the apples. Rather than one layer, I made two and added apples to the top and covered with streusel. The result is absolutely magnificent!!! As other reviewers have commented, the baking time, however, should definately be increased another 10 minutes or so. Enjoy!!

Tomato Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2003
This recipie was wonderful, however, rather than purchase commercial brand dried breadcrumbs it is much better if you have a food processor to put in a couple of slices of bread, mix with oregano, basil, salt, pepper, spices etc and some parmesean cheese. Also vegeteble cocktain, such as V8 is a great substitute rather than plain tomato juice.
