Crab Crusted Grouper

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2012
This was delicious! Even my hubby, a finicky fish eater said delicious. I prepared recipe as written except I cut the butter down to 3T because i need to watch cholesterol and it was still awesome!

Smoky Grilled Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2012
OMG! These are awesome pork chops. This is how I'll be preparing pork chops from now on. The only change I made was the cooking time - 3 1/2 - 4 minutes per side is plenty. Otherwise they'll be too dry.

Chicken with Quinoa and Veggies

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2012
This is our favorite chicken and quinoa dish. I like it just the way it is but I've also added other vegetables - whatever I had handy. I've even removed the chicken to make it a side dish. Yum!

Barley Primavera

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2012
We really enjoyed this dish! I added fresh mushrooms, fresh brocolli, and red bell pepper. Hubby had 3 servings and said he could eat it all. He's NEVER said that about any side dish. So this is a big hit for us!

Homemade Fresh Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2012
Delicious! Hubby and guests all loved the pie. I cheated and used a Pet Ritz deep-dish pie crust but used the filling recipe here so it only made one pie. I added 1/2 t of ground cloves as was suggested by another reviewer and we thought it had a wonderful flavor. For you other first-timers like me, cooking the pumpkin was a breeze. I cut it in quarters (it was big) and put it cut side down on a jelly roll pan and baked at 325 for an hour. I let it cool a little then with a large spoon, simply and easily scraped the seeds and strings, then scraped the pumpkin from the shell. It was sooo easy. Don't be afraid. My pumpkin was large so half is in the freezer waiting for Christmas!

Chicken Dijon

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2012
Yum! Hubby agreed that this was pretty tasty! I only made slight changes - salt, pepper, and taragon on the chicken after pounding (these breasts were gigantic) and before cooking. I doubled the sauce per another's suggestion but that was too much sauce. Next time I'll make 1.5 times the sauce but still 2x the dijon as we both thought the dijon flavor could have been more intense. I also used fat-free half and half. Still yummy. Will be adding to the rotation.

Grilled Asparagus

Reviewed: Dec. 23, 2012
I've been grilling asparagus for years because it is so awesome! I used garlic salt instead of regular salt and I sprinkle parmesan on the asparagus after taking off the grill.

Old-World Cabbage Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2013
Initially I would have rated this 3 stars because it was a little bland to me. Then I followed another persons advice and added some dried herbs - basil, oregano, and marjoram. Now it is much, much better. I even threw in some edamame.

Cabbage and Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2013
Yum! Yum! I too cut way back on the butter and used another's advice to add some chicken broth. Adding parmesan right before serving was a nice touch.

Grilled Sea Bass

Reviewed: Sep. 22, 2013
I just L-O-V-E Love this seasoning for fish. I make extra and keep it handy. The only change I made from this recipe is to eliminate the butter and add the garlic and parsley before cooking. I have used the seasoning on many different kinds of fish; the latest was Red Snapper. My guests all raved and were looking for this recipe on Allrecipes.com the next day.
