Pasta Shrimp Salad

I took this to a company picnic and it was a hit! Only thing I did was omit celery (ick!) and put in fresh oregano and Italian parsley. I love it is diet friendly too! I need that! Very good!

I made this for Father's Day for my hubby who loves loves loves carrot cake. I have tried many recipes and I finally got the ultimate one! He loved it. For raisins, I put in dried cranberries. This is the most moist carrot cake ever.

Pumpkin Cookies III

These are awesome cookies! They are soft and stay that way the next day. They are like little slices of pumpkin bread. The only things I did different is first I used pumpkin pie spice and then I heated up a can of cream cheese frosting for like 30 seconds and drizzled it over the cookies. Then I put a whole pecan on top. They were pretty and delicious. I made them the first time this last weekend and now my hubby wants me to make them for his shop for their Thanksgiving lunch. I am off to make them again, now!

Double-Decker Fudge

Oh my God! I made this for Easter and I also made my milk chocolate fudge. Every one went for the double decker and they want more. Very Very good! I wouldn't change a thing!

Angel Hair Pasta Salad

I amke this for all my company functions! I would advise if you make it the night before and you take the salad somewhere. Take a half a bottle of ranch dressing to pour into it just before serving because it does soak up alot of the dressing overnight. But it is such a hit wherever I take it.

Lemon Custard Filling

Came out way too thick for the liquid ratio to the thickening. Not very flavorable. Maybe put some almond or vanilla extract in it and increase the liquid. Not good...should of maid lemon curd instead.

Poppy Seed Bread with Glaze

Good recipe! I don't know why but I had some batter left so I filled a mini-muffin tin and baked them. Then when the muffins were done baking and still warm, I dipped the tops in the glaze and cool on a wire rack. They were so good! Didn't even last an hour! I use the bread as a sping dessert, I slice the bread and then put a dollop of lemon curd on it and top it with a strawberry. Yummy!

Slow Cooker Baked Beans

This is a good recipe but don't do the boiling part of the beans. Just let them soak overnight. And yes, I had to cook them longer. What I did was.......soak them overnight on Friday. Cook them with the ham hocks only on Saturday. Then Sunday morning add all your stuff and let cook until dinner and they will be awesome. The flavor is excellent! Oh yeah, I used dijon mustard instead and it gave it a a little zing!

Easy Cream Cheese Danish

This is sooooooo good! It is a fast great last-minute-company-coming-over breakfast with coffee. My 10-year old son asks for it all the time, I plan to copy this recipe down tohis scrapbook so his future wife can make it for him!

Southern Candied Sweet Potatoes

Bomb Diggity sweet potatoes!!! Served them for Easter and everyone loved them. I will make them for every holiday and maybe a few made-up holidays like "I feel like having Southern Candies Sweet Potatoes Day!" Hee Hee

Beer Bread I

This bread is the "bomb diggity"! I used to buy a beer bread mix from "Simply Tasteful" food parties. Well, it is like $8.00 for one loaf! So I thought, there has to be a recipe out there on Allrecipes that was similiar and here it is. The only thing I do different is pour 1/4 cp. melted butter on top before baking. It gives it a little more zing! But thank you for this recipe, it saves me money and keeps my hubby happy!

French Peach Pie

This pie was very good! I had to bring a peach pie to an office party and it I didn't want to bring a traditional one because 3 others had to bring peach pie also. Everyone raved over this one and asked for the recipe. It is a very good cool summer treat!
