Best Lemonade Ever

Reviewed: May 29, 2012
Delicious lemonade! Exactly what I've been looking for, for years. I only used 1 1/2 cups white sugar, and it was enough for me, even though I like my lemonade on the sweet side ;o)

Blonde Brownies I

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2012
Woaw. I made those two weeks ago but it was a complete failure. I thought, since most reviews were so good, that I made something wrong. The top never seemed to bake so I let those a bit too long. Also I ran out of Baking powder and used extra baking soda. Also I forgot to turn on the oven so the battery had to sit a bit (bad bad bad thing...) It turned out good but they were so overcooked they were like hard cookies. This time I used the baking powder and even if it was still way undercooked, I took them out (I was ready to put them back in if I saw they didn't "set" properly). Well, they turned out perfect :) A bit too sweet for me and I probably will cut the salt next time but the texture was absolutely perfect (and that was what I was looking for) a bit crispy on the edge and chewy and not completely cooked on the inside. A few tips though: Since you use Baking powder, you need to put the battery in the pan and bake them right away. Don't do that in advance. If you don't like your dessert too sweet, cut a bit on sugar. Oh and I didn't have nuts so I didn't use them. Thanks a lot for this recipe.

Classic Hash Browns

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2012
I never had hash browns before (it's not common in my country) but I really wanted to give it a try. This recipe seemed simple, and really is. It's very nice, very classic, and I think I'll just add my personal touch next time, but other than that, it's a great simple recipe. You can add whatever you want (I think I'll try onions next time, according to some reviews I read) Thanks for sharing.

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2013
I'm eating them right now... they are really good, but I think they're a bit too "salty", but it's easy to fix that with more syrup. They are really fluffy, I won't hesitate to make them again, but I'll cut on the salt next time :)

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2012
Oh my... I have tried to make muffins a few times, but they always turned too dry or not sweet enough. Those were absolutely perfect! Moist and soft and so tasty! And the crumble part is a fantastic plus! Highly recommended. Oh and it made a dozen of them. I just doubled the cinnamon.

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2013
I hesitated between 4 and 5 stars... it's not exactly the recipe I was looking for, but since I made a few changes, it seemed only fair to give it a 5 stars. Mine turned out a bit cakey, and since I like my brownies very chocolatey and not to sweet, I cut the sugar to two cups. But instead of using dark chocolate chips, I used white chocolate (which is sweeter). Apart from that this recipe is very easy, and I'll give it another try and I will follow it to a T next time ;)

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2012
I've been looking for the perfect chewy cookie recipe for ten years. This one really is the closest :o) I followed the recipe step by step (only thing I didn't do: I was out of vanilla, so I used a vanilla flavored white sugar that I make myself, I don't think it changed anything). I couldn't resist and had to taste one out of the oven, after I let it cool for 5/10minutes on the sheet of course. Crispy outside, chewy and not totally baked inside. Only thing (but that might be me, my oven or a slight change in European ingredients) the outside is a tiny bit too crispy to me. I really didn't overbake them, and temperature was the one give in the recipe. I might try an even lower temperature. Also, they looked a bit thin (which might be why they were a bit too crispy...) to me. Anyway, it's the best I found so far and I'm going to work on that wonderful recipe to make MY perfect cookies ;) Thanks a lot for sharing this with us!
