I just remarried in June 2006 to a wonderful man. I have a teenaged daughter and two fabulous puppies. I'm a baker all the way. If I could make a decent living baking, that would be my dream job. Alas, I live in a smallish midwestern town... Cookies, cookies, cookies My first Christmas dinner in my own home when I was 22... I made Broccoli Casserole that was largely made up of broccoli, rice, and cheese. I forgot the rice, so it was more like Broccoli Soup. I also made a turkey that day. Not only did I leave the various parts in the turkey but I also misread the package and left the turkey in the oven for a ridiculously long time. It didn't burn, but I made some fine turkey jerky!!! Thank God the pies were good.
