Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad

I've made these 3 times and I love them. I didn't have (still don't have) wheat germ, so I subbed flax seed & used dried blueberries twice and dried cherries once. I'm about to make them again, they're great on the go breakfast bars!

Ali's Amazing Bruschetta

Spinach Cheese Ball

Very good! Easy and delicious - and I was asked for the recipe by co-workers. That's always a good sign! I, too shaped it in the form of a Christmas tree, put it on a red and white plate and it was really festive.

Sugar Cookie Icing

As written, this was way to thick for dipping. painting or drizzling as is suggested in the recipe. I had to add at least another tablespoon of corn syrup (perhaps a little more, start with a teaspoon or two, beat and add more if you need to). In the end, it worked beautifully and I am quite happy with the results. Very worth the small effort to make. I'm only sorry that I didn't check my food coloring supply -- only had orange and black! Not good for my pretty Christmas stars, so white looks very nice with edible glitter sprinkled on them.

Thick Cut-Outs

These are just okay for us. They do make nice cutouts, no puffing ut of shape or anything, but for us they could be a little sweeter tasting.

Haitian French Toast

This is absolutely delicious! Easy, too. I had many requests for the recipe and we'll make this again and again. I agree, if I could give it more stars I would! Thanks! I don't know how my previous review got so few stars!! I intended to give it 5.

Grandma's Chicken Noodle Soup

Really good! I "sauteed" the vegetables (I, too added carrots)in 2 cups of chicken broth along with the salt and the poultry seasoning in my big dutch oven. After about 5-7 minutes, I added the rest of the broth and simmered for 15 minutes. I also only partially cooked the noodles (about 5 minutes) before adding them to the hot soup along with the chicken. I'll be making this again for sure.

Chicken and Dumplings III

Yummy! I'm all done with making this from scratch. This is delicious and very easy. The only change I made was using Bisquick dumplings. My hubby and son loved. Thanks for a great recipe!

Tzatziki Sauce II

This is pretty good. It tastes much like what I had in Greece - although I can't find Greek yogurt (which is awesome) at the supermarket. I know it's available at better grocery stores and I'll find it and use it next time.

Thai Chicken

Well, funny story - right in the middle of preparation of this recipe, my internet connection went out. I got as far as the marinade and sauteing the chicken in the sesame oil. I couldn't remember what happened next, but did recall something about brown sugar. So I decided to wing it and boil the sauce and add a couple of tablespoons of brown sugar. I really wish I would have remembered the peanut butter. As it was, it was okay, but nothing special. The peanut butter would have been a very good addition, and it would have added alot of flavor and body to the sauce. Anyway - it's very worth trying!
