Wild River Bloody Mary Mix
This was a brilliant recipe. I had all the ingredients at home (except celery salt which is 3 tsp salt & 1 1/2 tsp celery seed). Letting it sit overnight was the key (DH usually mixes similar ingredients up in a glass). He also loves horseradish, so I thought he would doctor this up, but he drank the whole jar--without adding vodka! (It was a little spicy for me, so I'll cut the hot sauce in half next time, and let him add it to his drink). I prefer to garnish with a pickle spear.

Red Lentil Curry
I've been meaning to try lentils for a long time. I just went vegan, so here it goes: I had all the ingredients except tomato puree so I used fire-roasted diced tomatoes. I overcooked the lentils, but that didn't seem to matter. I would like it a little spicier and with more sauce. Next time I will cut the lentils in half (instead of doubling spices--it made a lot!), find something hotter than Patar's mild curry paste and pick up some Indian chili powder. YUM.

Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker
I love pork loin in the crock pot. So easy. It was done in 4 hrs and split with a fork. However, the soup mix did make it salty. I'll try to find a low-sodium mix or make my own next time. My husband was excited about the au jus. I tried to hand him a plate but he insisted on a bowl!
