Double Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Because my husband had bought white chocolate chips instead of the chunks.I put the white chocolate in.I had made the batch ahead of time then put the dough in fridge.When I baked them the came out very moist and chocolatey!!!

Mom's Raisin Oatmeal Cookies

Spanish Rice II

I have never made Spanish rice from skratch( excuse me for the poor grammer to that word)before,but this recipe came out tasting just like the store bought.I didn't have a can of tomatoes w/green chilies.In its place I stirred in a can of tomatoe paste with hand crushed tomatoes and a small can of diced green chilies.I also upgraded the servings to 6 instead of 4.

Tortillas I

I cut the recipe down to 12 tortillas,as I didn't need to make 60 tortillas.I don't know if it was the amount I made or I did something wrong.However,the recipe didn't yield 12 tortillas,as it made 4 servings.Still the dough didn't rise like I thought it would.I used all new ingredents.They did taste ok,but not like store bought ones.

Apple Pie

I had made other apple pie recipes,but this one was the best tasting and very easy to make.Because I didn't have a fresh lemon rind to zest.I just didn't put it in the suggested recipe.However,I did add the suggested amount of lemon juice,as I did have that on hand.My husband,as well as, my 18 year old son loved it.

Best Ever Pie Crust

I love this pie crust recipe,because it is easy to make and comes out with shinning stars.I put the divided doughs in the freezer for 20 minutes instead of the overnight or 4 hours,as directed.It was very easy to roll out,at the sametime it was a dream to work with.

Great Grandad's Sugar Cookies

I believe this recipe would be a good pizza dessert crust.Somewhere in this recipe it should say refrigerated overnight,as it is too runny.It doesn't have the taste of a sugar cookie.
