Easy Turkey Curry

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2003
This Recipe was a great way to get rid of leftover Turkey from Thanksgiving and it is different than the same ole Pot Pie. My husband loved this and couldn't wait to take the leftovers to work the next day. I did add another tablespoon of Curry though. Gave it more of a kick.

Banana Crunch Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2003
This recipe makes a very moist cake. The crumb topping was different but it made the Cake. Will make this often to get rid of old bananas.

Chicken Breast Cacciatore

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2003
This recipe was O.K. I tried to make this in the microwave but I found that it would have turned out better in the oven. The coating was tasty but it really missed that baked in the oven flavor. I found that the chicken dried out in the microwave. I will try this again however.

Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2003
This is a winner. Easy to make and it doesn't take too long. I did make a few alterations to this recipe to cut down on the fat. I used 1% milk instead of the heavy cream and cornstarch to thicken. I also just cut up the Turkey sausage into rounds so that I could control how much meat ended up on my plate. Next time I won't use as many chili peppers though. I found with a spicy sausage you don't need as many peppers. All in all a great recipe and my husband wants this in our regular rotation. Thanks a million!!

Strawberry Angel Food Dessert

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2003
I had my family all coming over for dessert and a coffee and they all asked for "Something different". I had so many strawberries in my fridge and I was getting so sick of berries on top of Angel food cake that when I saw this recipe I couldn't help but try it. My Family loved it!! Everyone wanted the recipe. I did make a few alterations to the recipe such as using Splenda instead of Sugar and just mashing up some strawberries and Splenda to make my own Glaze. This can be a great recipe for someone who is watching their fat and sugar intake. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe.
