Cookie Dough for Ice Cream (Eggless)

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2007
Wow! What a simple, great recipe. Based on the other reviews these are the modifications that I made: I doubled the amount of vanilla, 1 1/2 TB milk instead of water, 2 TB of brown sugar, and I added a little over a 1/4 of a cup of mini chocolate chips. When completely mixed, I wrapped it in plastic wrap, rolled it in a log, and froze it. I then sliced up the log (how you would for slice and bake cookies), and quartered each slice. Amazing!

Double Layer Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2004
This pie was very delicious and you can't take just one bite of it! The only reason I rated it a 4 was because the peanut butter layer had too strong of a cream cheese taste. Next time I might add more p.b., or use a lighter cream cheese. Definitely try this recipe out!

Chicken Crescent Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2007
This is a very delicious casserole, and I recommend it to anyone. I have baked a casserole similar to this, and next time I make Chicken Crescent Casserole I will modify a few things based on what I also like from the other similar recipes. Instead of cream of mushroom, I use cream of chicken, I will add in 3 hard-cooked eggs (chopped), 2 teaspoons lemon juice, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Also, instead of swiss cheese, I will use 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. Enjoy :-)

Butterfinger Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2003
I baked these cookies for a party, and I was disapointed when the first guest took one and pratically broke a tooth bighting into it (and I made them that day too!). But after I put them in a container w/ bread (which softens them up), they taste pretty good. I think they could have a stronger butterfinger taste, though.

Easy Valentine's Day Trifle

Reviewed: May 11, 2008
This was an extremely easy trifle to put together, and it was very tasty. Next time I make it, I will use two boxes of Little Debbie's jelly rolls, and I may layer it differently.

Double Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2003
Very delicious! You have to be a chocolate lover to like this cookie, though! I recommend baking these cookies for about 7 or 8 minutes...this way they come out very gooey! I will definitely make these again!

Cashew Chicken with Water Chestnuts

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2008
I would give this recipe a 4.5. Very delicious, and I will be making it again. I served it on top of white rice, and I also added garlic to the chicken and omitted the hot pepper sauce. Besides that, I kept everything the same. Great taste!

Strawberry Soup II

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2007
This is a delicious recipe! I simply just serve the soup and omit the pound cake. For best results, make sure you give the soup plenty of time to chill and I even like to place the chilled bowls of soup in the freezer for a bit before serving.

Molten Chocolate Cakes With Sugar-Coated Raspberries

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2007
I just baked this fancy dessert for my parents tonight. I did have a few changes: instead of using a muffin pan, I used greased ramekins (I filled them a little over 3/4ths full.. I made 3 cakes, and froze the rest of the batter), and I added 1/2 teaspoon coco powder. I let them bake for 12 minutes (I might do a little longer next time), and then allowed them to cool for about three minutes before putting them on a plate. What a beautiful dessert.. I garnished with the raspberries, powder sugar, whipped cream, and drizzled chocolate syrup over them. They were very rich, but my dad said they were just as good as the ones we had on a cruise ship (I somewhat disagree.. but they were still good). I rate this a 4.5, and I will be making them again.

Fruit Pizza I

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2008
This was great! I used refrigerated cookie dough (make sure you let it sit out for a bit to soften before you flatten it). After baking, I used the cream cheese frosting from this recipe, and topped the pizza with strawberries, red and purple grapes, and pineapple. I took it to a church event, and came home with tons of compliments and an empty pan!

Slow Cooker Chicken Cordon Bleu

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2008
What a wonderful recipe! Absolutely delicious. Based off other reviews, I used two cans of soup and 1.5 cups of milk. I also added some garlic. I butterflied the chicken breasts and put the ham and cheese in them. I added the stuffing mix when there was two hours left. I'll definitely be making this again!

White Chocolate Gorp

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2007
AMAZING! ADDICTING! WONDERFUL! Need I go on? I definitely had the stomach ache to prove how great this recipe is. I did play with the recipe a bit, and these are the measurements that I recommend: 7 cups chex (I used Crispix), 4 cups cheerios, 4 cups pretzels, 4 cups cashews (I also used dry roasted peanuts). I also think next time I will not use M&M's, but instead use Reese Pieces (the M&M's were just too much chocolate). If you want to be popular, definitely make this recipe :-)

Blueberry Buckle

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2007
Even though I have never actually tasted this myself, I made it for a bake sale and people raved about it. By the way it smelled when it was baking, I knew it was a keeper. These are the changes I made: 1 1/2 cup flour instead of 2, 1 t vanilla, and for the topping I used 1/4 cup brown and white sugar each. I tossed my blueberries in 1 T of flour before adding them to the mixture. And I baked it for 50 minutes. AMAZING.

Pigs in a Blanket

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2006
I made these for me and my sister, but we changed the recipe up a bit. Instead of using biscuits, we used refrigerator crescent rolls. For each crescent roll, we used half a hot dog and half a slice on cheese. Then we baked them for about 7 minutes. They are a tasty little treat.

Ma's Premium Ice Cream Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2005
It's a pretty good pie, but nothing too spectacular. I used peanut butter ice cream on the bottom, and Ben & Jerry's "Half Baked" ice cream on the top. My friends really enjoyed it.

Manicotti with Cheese

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2006
This was an average recipe. Nothing bad, but nothing spectacular. It seemed like it was missing something. I probably won't make it again, and I'll keep looking for another manicotti recipe.

Chicken and Bow Tie Pasta

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2008
Very tasty! This actually wasn't the recipe I used (I used a similar one off of the back of a pasta box), but it was basically the same thing. I cooked the chicken in oil with garlic. I then cooked brocolli and red peppers with the chicken broth, added the chicken, then used 2 containers of chive and onion cream cheese, and mixed the pasta in. Delicious!

This was just okay. Nothing amazing, but nothing horrible. I didn't change anything about the recipe. I will probably not make this again.

Holiday Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2008
What a delicious chicken salad! I will definitely be making this again. I halved the recipe, and used more mayo than what was called for. I also used canned chicken. The only difference I'll make next time when making this recipe will be to add more of cranberries, celery, and onion.
