Slow Cooker Taco Soup

Reviewed: May 1, 2006
My friends and I baked this for a spanish project. It came out pretty good... it basically tasted like chilli. We served it with shredded cheese and tortilla chips.. which are both a must. We didn't add the 2 cups of water, and we were glad that we didn't. Overall, a good recipe.

Pecan Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2006
This was just an average pecan pie; it wasn't spectacular or anything. I doubt I'll make it again, but if I do, I would decrease the cooking time because the top of the pie seemed to hard.

Christmas Wreaths

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2006
I didn't actually make this exact recipe, but my family makes these treats every Christmas. They are WONDERFUL! They are a staple on the Holiday platters we hand out, and everyone tells us how they look forward to the annual Xmas Wreaths. They may be hard to shape, but they are blissfully good!

Peanut Butter Sandwich Loaf

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2006
This recipe definitely smells good while in the oven, but I won't be making it again. You can barely taste the peanut butter in it, and it is very crumbly and dry.

Spaghetti Pie III

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2006
Ymmmm! This is a very delicious recipe! My only advice, though, it so use about 1/2 to 3/4 of the amount of spaghetti that the recipe calls for.

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2006
I followed this recipe exactly, except I omitted the ginger. It was great! My dad said it was the best meatloaf he has ever had. This recipe is definitely a keeper.

World's Best Peanut Butter Fudge

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2006
Instead of using this as a fudge recipe, I would use this as a frosting recipe. I followed the recipe exactly, and also the advice of some of the other reviewers, but the consistency of the fudge did not just turn out right. I definitely recommend refrigerating it to firm it up. That makes a big difference. Overall, it does have a good taste, though.

Cowboy Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2006
What a great recipe! If there was a 4.5, I would give it that rating. As other reviewers suggested, I baked the biscuits seperately, and then piled the casserole on top of two to three biscuits. I'll definitely be making this one again!

Manicotti with Cheese

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2006
This was an average recipe. Nothing bad, but nothing spectacular. It seemed like it was missing something. I probably won't make it again, and I'll keep looking for another manicotti recipe.

Grilled Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich

Reviewed: May 26, 2005
Being a big PB&J fan, I was excited to try this recipe. It was delicious, yet very simple. My only advice is to use more peanut butter and jelly than the recipe calls for.

Chocolate Chip Pie IV

Reviewed: May 19, 2005
This pie is extremely rich, and it had more of a taste of a pecan pie bar than a chocolate chip cookie. I personally won't make it again, but my family and friends seemed to enjoy it.

Breakfast Sausage Casserole

Reviewed: May 9, 2005
Ymmm! This was ver delicious. I used Bob Evan's Maple Sausage (2 packs), which added some good flavor. Next time I make it I think I will use a different type of cheese, or more of it. You couldn't taste the cheese.

Peanut Buttercup Hot Chocolate

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2005
Ymmm! This was really good! It's April, and you may think it's odd to be drinking hot chocolate at this time of year.. but it's SNOWING! The peanut butter was a great punch to an already delicious drink!

Yummmmmm!!! VERY good! The whole family enjoyed this one (well, besides my sister, but she is an extremely picky eater), and I will definitely make it again.

Sugar Coated Pecans

WOW! These pecans are AWESOME and addicting! I dare you to just have on handful. Impossible! Very delicious, and I will make them again and again. If you want a great snack to set out for company, definitely make this!

Polvorones de Canele (Cinnamon Cookies)

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2005
Pretty much a flop. I took them to an international dinner that my school was having, and they were just okay. Didn't get any great comments on them. They taste alright, nothing awful, but I definitely won't make them again.

Baked Ziti I

This was a very good pasta dish that my whole family enjoyed. The sour cream added a different taste to it. I'm sure I'll make it again some time.

Ma's Premium Ice Cream Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2005
It's a pretty good pie, but nothing too spectacular. I used peanut butter ice cream on the bottom, and Ben & Jerry's "Half Baked" ice cream on the top. My friends really enjoyed it.

Double Layer Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2004
This pie was very delicious and you can't take just one bite of it! The only reason I rated it a 4 was because the peanut butter layer had too strong of a cream cheese taste. Next time I might add more p.b., or use a lighter cream cheese. Definitely try this recipe out!
