Sour Cream Waffles

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2006
These waffles are light and filling. They are very good served with strawberries maserated in sugar and vanilla over night. This is not a crisp waffle on the outside. That was not a problem for my family and I. We found it to be a very good waffle and look forward to having it again.

One Bowl Brownies

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2006
I made these for my Mom to take with her to have as dessert at a lunch after Bible study class. The brownies were a hit! I was told there were none left. As I'm unable to eat chocolate, I had to take the opinion of others as far as taste. The consensus is these brownies are very good. They are very easy to make and the recipe can be easily doubled. The only thing that stopped this from being a five star rating, was the edges of the brownies got crisp. You may not need to let them cook for the full 35 minutes. Depends on your oven.

Strawberry Cake and Frosting II

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2005
This is a very easy and fast cake to make. It is also very moist and rich in flavor. Here is a little tip. If you wish to make this cake when strawberries are not in season, buy fresh strawberries and freeze them. Then when you are ready to make the cake, thaw the berries in a colander overnight, getting rid of the liquid.

Christmas Orange Balls

Reviewed: Feb. 29, 2004
A bit time consuming to make. I found it difficult to roll them into balls, and hold the shape. But the taste after setting for a day or two is great.

Grandmother's Pound Cake II

Reviewed: Feb. 29, 2004
This cake is quick and easy to make. Because it is your basic pound cake, you can flavor it any way you like. The taste is rich and buttery. Also a good cake to try if you're making one for the first time.
