I've tweaked it a bit after all these years; add additional can of drained diced tomatoes, add chicken a little later on (if possible, an hour on high or 3 if on low) and I add raw shrimp an hour prior to finish time. We like ours a little soupy as my husband dips his bread into the juice but half the chicken broth if you'd like it less soupy.
This is in response to Katie1217's review on 06/16/09. If you note, Robin Millers recipe is from 2005 and mine was posted in 2004. After your comment, I searched her recipe and it is not word for word as you erroneously stated. Also, I would have to have ESP to post a recipe that did not appear until a year after mine.
