Tres Leches (Milk Cake)

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2010
Amazing Cake! First time and everyone enjoyed it. Very easy to make ....just used 1/2 cup sugar for the whipped cream for the top. Loved that you make this ahead, perfect for company. Many have never tasted this type of cake.

Catherine's Spicy Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2009
WOW this has such a wonderful flavor! And just enough spicy flavor. All I did was use chicken broth instead of the water and omitted the chicken bouillon. Cut the chicken up into small chunks and add it to the pot after it started to boil. The chicken just cooked in the soup and had lots of flavor. I did follow the recipe exactly with everything else. Give this recipe a try! It is even better the second day.

African Chicken Stew

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2009
Very good and different. Everyone loved the flavors. I used 1/2 cup of PB and double the chicken stock, which I used instead of water. Needs some color so I added sweet potatoes instead of white, carrots and just a handful of raisins. Served over brown rice. Easy and tasty. Will be making again

This was such a big hit with my guests!! I served it with ginger snaps and graham cracker sticks. I only used 1 1/2 cups of sugar and was very glad I did as it was just sweet enough. I will be making it again at Christmas.

Cream Cheese Mints

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2003
WOW--so quick and easy to make! They were gone in mintues. I made them with 4 oz of cream cheese. Divided the mixture and add 3 teasp. of lemon extract to half and 3 teasp. of mint to the rest. Had to add a little more confectioner's sugar as it was too sticky to handle. Then it handled so well. I made them small, one or two bites. Added melted chocolate to half of the mints and they tasted great. Will be making these and giving as gifts.
