I made a 1/2 batch, (2 chicken breasts) & used crescent rolls instead of biscuits, wish I had used 2 cans!! So good! Seasoned the chicken with poultry seasoning, rosemary, thyme, salt, pepper and added more pepper when I put in the dough. Pressed the crescents into a ball and tore off in chunks & tossed into crock, added pepper to top left in for 2 hours. Took other "tweeks" into consideration and kept an eye on it; 30 min will NOT cook the dough. Two hours, PERFECTION. I will be making this ATLEAST every other week this winter. SO EASY.
