Best soup I've made yet! I followed another review almost to a tee (DManfredi's review). I used 3 cans of clams and saved all the liquid and used that instead of water. We used turkey bacon instead of bacon so there wasn't much bacon grease, but I love the idea of using the bacon grease for flavor. I only used 2 cups of half and half because I only have a medium sized pan (have to invest in a bigger pan soon) but when we reheat the leftovers I will add more. I'm glad we used 3 cans because we had lots of clams in every bite. I've only ever had clam chowder from a can, so this really knocked my socks off! Thanks for the recipe!
