Easy Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2006
this is the most delicious cobbler ever! every time i make it i get raves! like other bakers i cut the cream cheese into the cake mix. i slice the butter thinly and place it on top in the pan and then sprinkle a little more brown sugar on top for a nice caremely sort of crunch. One thing I recommend is to always use UNSALTED butter cuz once when i didn't my husband complained that he could taste the salt. i think it's that cake mix already has enough salt. i'm about to go make this right now!

Roasted Vegetable Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2006
This is the easiest delicious meal you can make. I also add french cut string beans and additionally season with McCormick Rotisserie Chicken Seasoning, garlic pwdr, onion pwdr, basil and oregano. If you make the Baking Powder Biscuits recipe from this site to go with the chicken (also an extremely easy and quick recipe!) you will be in comfort food heaven!

A Vegetable Stew - Tabakh Rohoo

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2006
I give this recipe four stars because it is delicious, but i did add a few things: a dash of lemon juice, about 2 tbsp curry powder. I fried the lamb and eggplant on the stove, layered the whole thing in a casserole dish WITH one cup uncooked rice mixed with hot water, divided, and baked in oven at 425 for about an hour. TALK ABOUT YUM YUM YUM!!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2003
Oh, Janiece-- thank you thank you thank you(!!!) for this recipe. It is absolutely delish!! My husband who is hard to please because he has a thing about "food textures" looked hilariously nervous when he saw the biscuits bubbling up in the slow cooker. But I made him try it and he absolutely loved it! I took another reviewer's advice and put the biscuits in about and hour before serving (instead of 30 minutes) for toastier biscuits. Also I used 98% fat free cream of mushroom and cream of celery soups (couldn't taste the difference!) and crumbled a chicken bouillion cube into the mixture after adding the water. The chicken practically fell apart when I served this dish-- soo tender! YUM YUM YUM! I love my new slow cooker!

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Sep. 8, 2003
My husband and I loved this dish. Delectable!! I took some of the other reviewers' advice and used evaporated milk (2% no less!) and added cornstarch to thicken. My husband wants me to make this dish when we invite his family over for dinner next weekend.
