Easy Pork Roast

I had been looking for a good pork shoulder recipe, and came across this one. It was Great! I only had one problem, and that was the roast I had was 10 pounds, not 5. But, using all the ingredients listed, it was perfect. I should have added a little more salt and garlic, but that's about it. Loved it!

Goldenrod Egg

I learned how to make this in the 7th grade Home Ec class in 1959. I've made it for almost every Easter breakfast since then. When making a white sauce, be sure to use white pepper, and I like to use canned milk, it has a creamy consistency before cooking.

Cabbage Patch Stew

My family just loves this stew. Instead of Picante sauce, I use Rotell tomatoes & chile's in the original flavor and a can of diced tomatoes, and I use the coleslaw cabbage in a bag for quick fixing. I also add 1 can of diced green chile's.

Super Duper Oatmeal

For this recipe, I use Irish Oats in a rice cooker that has programing for porridge. I add all the ingredients at night, and in the morning everything is ready. I add a pat of butter, or Smart Balance, to give it the salt taste it needs.

Cuban Midnight Sandwich

I've used this recipe on numerous ocassions, but to grill it I use my electric griller that presses on both sides at once. Comes out fast, and tasty!

The Best Meatballs

This recipe is so easy and freezes well. I make up a big batch and set up several containers for future meals. Although I've switched the veal and pork with ground turkey. I get gets raves everytime.

Red Pepper-Salmon Pasta

This was very tasty! You need to remember to not make more pasta than the 8 ounces, otherwise you don't have enough sauce.
