Snickerdoodles V

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2013
The cookies were good, but the dough was a pain! I followed the recipe exactly and it was extremely sticky. I thought I did something wrong. I read another review that had the same issue. The only solution I was able to come up with was hers-wet your hands. We loved these, but I won't be making them again. (If you put the dough in the fridge, then the cinnamon/sugar combo doesn't stick as well. Same with putting flour on your hands.)

Slow Cooker Lasagna

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2013
I made this with the suggested alterations. Mine cooked in 3 hours. The biggest problem was how to get it out of the crock pot with all of the layers! LOL It turned out to be one big goopy mess, but it was still delicious.

Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2013
Everyone loved it. I followed other suggestions/substitutions: wrapping in foil, olive oil instead of veggie oil, grilled face down with no turning so it took a little longer to cook, but worth it. I also reduced the amount of soy sauce. I didn't see this, but I also seasoned again before grilling because I didn't see any of the fish. This will be made again!!!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2013
This was my first attempt and chicken and dumplings and it was so easy and it was great! I used others suggestions and used 2 cans different cans of soup - 1 of cream of celery and 1 of cream of chicken. My family also isn't big on onions so I used about 1/4 of an onion. I also followed one other suggestion about rolling out the biscuits and sprinkling them with salt and pepper before putting them in. I will definitely be making this again! Thank you to the creator of this!

Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2010
I had to make self rising flour and it did work, however, the pancakes were missing something. They were a little bland. I even added vanilla like one person suggested. Maybe they would've been better if I didn't have to make the self rising flour? I will try it again though.

Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2009
I am not a good baker, cook, etc. and these turned out GREAT! If you can follow a recipe you can do it, very easy. Fun for kids to help as well. My 4 yr old loved making the balls, dipping in the sugar and flattening. We will be making these for the next holiday and the next and the next. :D

Baked Salmon Fillets Dijon

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2003
This recipe was great and so easy! The bread crumbs added a nice crust and the mustard added a nice tangy flavor. The only negative thing about it was the skin on the salmon. I just sliced the meaty part of the fish away from it and it was fine.
