Pasta Primavera with Italian Turkey Sausage

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2010
I have to admit I did alter the ingredients a little, but this was a fantastic dish! The husband is not a fan of turkey sausage so I used diced browned chicken. I don't care for peppers so I omitted the pepper and added diced portabello mushrooms. It was the perfect dish for this chilly rainy night. I made breadsticks to go along with it. Definitely a keeper and in dinner rotation!

Philly Steak Sandwich

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2004
This was delicious and very spicy! I served these on a big crusty loaf of sesame seeded Italian bread and it was so good! The only thing is that my husband thinks I may have taken roast beef out of the freezer rather than minute steak. Either way, it was great. Will definitely make again!

Easy Skillet Chicken a la King

Reviewed: May 19, 2004
Very good recipe. Will definitely make again. It was a bit runny and will make it thicker next time.

Chicken Parmigiana

Reviewed: May 19, 2004
I am usually not a big fan of this recipe, but I wanted something different for my husband. I was pleasantly surprised that this was actually very good. I would definitely make it again.

Stuffed Shells I

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2004
In this recipe, I used Ricotta cheese rather than cottage and it was most delicious! Even my all Italian husband said this was good. Very easy to make as well!

Attitude Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2004
MMMM! This was very good with quite a zing! I did not use Broccoli just because I do not like it. I made it exactly otherwise. Was so delicious, will definitely make it again!

Very tasty marinade. I used this on some steaks that I had in the freezer from the summer! Will definitely use again.

Sweet Balsamic Marinade

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2004
Used it on chicken breasts and only marinated about 2 hours. Very delicious....my husband thought it tasted like liver?!?! But, I guess this is a compliment because he loves liver. Will definitely make over and over again.

Chocolate Eclair Dessert

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2004
Was an "ok" dessert. I did make it the night before to make it more mushy, which was a great suggestion. I was told that it needed more chocolate, yet it was too sweet as it was. Would maybe use it again as a quick make dessert.

Very Fruity Rum Punch

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2004
Was not happy with this punch. I followed directions exactly and found it was much too strong. (Plus it did not look enought to serve the amount stated). I added 2 cans of ginger ale, 2 cans of Hawaiian punch and it was much more delicious this way! I definitely would recommend adding your own ideas and I bet champagne would be good too.

Mexi-Cheesy Chip Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2003
As suggested by other members, I used Velveeta Jalapeno Cheese, The Campbells Chili Soup, and hot sausage and it completely made this dip. I am not sure how delicious it would have been without these specifics. Took to a party where it was a hit! Making it for another party tonight...it was super when it was hot, but yet still great cold! Never going back to old Taco dip!

Chicago Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2003
Eh, not good. I made the recipe exactly as stated and I ended up using 20 oz. of spinach just to make it thicker. Very runny. I had to add some of my own ingredients including a pack of dry onion soup mix just to make it servable. Will go back to my old recipe. Sorry!

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2003
Very good! Was afraid about the sour cream and used less than it was called for. Next time, I will use more because it was delicious! I also added some cooked spinach to the middle not only for some flavor, but coloring too! Will definitely make again.

Crab Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2003
So delicious! I made this last night for some family and at first no one touched it. They thought it was mashed potatos! Once I said it was crab, it was gone! Even the kids liked this one. I used the shredded cheese advice and definitely think this made it even tastier. I served it steaming hot and the bread chunks were so crispy! A wonderful cold-weather treat!

Baked Potato Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2003
Planned on taking this to a family party this weekend, made some this afternoon for husband's football game (to test it). He couldn't even wait to eat it so he put it all over mashed potatos at dinner. It was super! Great with chips too. I added some horseradish as suggested for a kick and it is out of this world!

Pork Afelia

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2003
I hate to give a bad review, but I did not enjoy this recipe. I think the Coriander was just not my type or spice, nor was it my husband's. I could, however see how some people would like this. Sorry, will not make this again!

Asiago Sun-Dried Tomato Pasta

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2003
I would give this 10 stars if I could! It was surprisingly very quick ( I had all four burners going at once!) I substituted the bacon for bacon bits and was completely satisfied. I did used more 2% milk than cream and only used a regular old onion because it was what I had on hand. Did not really enjoy the tomatos, (it did say to put it in, unless that was recently added). Husband enjoyed it much. We have tons of leftovers even though I scaled it to 3! Definite keeper!

Baked Seafood Au Gratin

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2003
Very good recipe. My husband raved about it, I thought it was ok. It was hard to scale the dinner down to 2 people. I omitted the peppers and fish and served it over pasta. A definite keeper.
