Easy Broccoli Slaw Salad
Used this recipe as a guide and made the following adjustments: Trader Joe's Broccoli Slaw mix, 12 oz bag; no sugar in the dressing, no ramen or ramen seasoning, instead I used Trader Joe's everyday seasoning mix, instead of almonds I used sunflower seeds and also left out onions & green peppers. Turned out great although the dressing to slaw ratio was a little off (probably b/c I left out so many things), it was a little more 'wet' than I usually prefer. I would definitely make this again!

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue
Turned out great, although I had to make the following adjustments based on what I had on hand. For sauce I used 2 Fat Guys BBQ sauce - approx 8 oz, Trader Joe's Caesar Parmesan dressing - approx 1/4 cup, 1 tsp brown sugar. Chopped up garlic and put that on the chicken, then poured the sauce mix over it. Used 4 thawed chicken breasts, cooked on low for 1 hour, high for 3 more, shredded the chicken, added the rest of the jar of the 2 fat guys bbq sauce, and cooked 1 more hour on low. (BTW, shredding the chicken made a world of difference, it soaked up all the watery sauce and adding the extra sauce gave the perfect ratio of meat to sauce) Everyone loved it!

Easy Meatloaf
This was good (for a very basic meatloaf) and hubby loved it but I do agree, there isn't quite enough sauce, hence the 4 star rating. Since I was just making for 2 ppl and only had just under 1lb 90% lean ground beef, I had to modify the recipe a bit. I set the servings to 5 and used those quantities listed (except still used 1 whole egg). I would've loved to try adding Worcestershire sauce but didn't have any in the house. I didn't have breadcrumbs so I used crumbled crackers (the equivalent of about 8 'social crackers'). I also sauteed the onion a bit along with a large clove of garlic. Still baked it for an hour and it came out perfectly cooked. Next time I'll make more sauce on the side to ladle over individual servings.
