I tried this for the first time today. I should have read the reviews before though. I heard about it at the hairdressors and was very excited. I followed all the stpes for a 3 pound Eye-of-the-Round Roast. It smelled wonderful in the early stages, but lost any aroma as the time passed. When the 3 hours were up I took my roast out. All of my sides were ready to go, unfortunatly my roast was only at 100 degrees F. I couldn't figure out what I had done wrong, then realized I have a gas oven, which does not hold the heat!!! We sliced it very thin, and had dinner, it was very tasty and every one enjoyed it! I think after reading other reviews the next time I will either add a little low hear for the last 45 minutes or so. But will defiantly do thins again. I like the ease of it and the fact that I am saving energy!
