Chocolate Sheet Cake II

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2005
This was really delicious...but it turned out to be rather flat (and I can't imagine how you could feed 24 people with it). I used a 10X15 pan and it was still not very big. I must have done something incorrectly...but it was so simple and easy I can't imagine what I could have done wrong. Has anyone else had this issue?

Fried Chicken with Creamy Gravy

Reviewed: Jul. 29, 2000
This was the best fried chicken I have ever made! I just changed two things: 1 - I added about 1/2 TSP Cayenne 2 - I double the flour portion (I always seem to run out) Two yums up!

The pie was yummy. However, when the editors rewrote this recipe, they left off a couple things. I only discovered this because I went and found the original recipe on

Chicken and Biscuit Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2000
This was delicious but in the "print full page" version of the recipe the vegetables were missing in the ingredients so I just guessed at quantities and lacked the celery. Also, four cups of chicken broth made the recipe a bit too thin. I used some crushed red pepper and other spices to jazz it up a bit and it turned out really well. Nice and easy.

Mom's Oatmeal Blueberry Pancakes

Hmmm. Maybe I did something wrong but they were too thin and I had to add extra flour. They were a bit doughy.
