Onion Chicken in Balsamic Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2009
WOW! What a great recipe! DELICIOUS! I did make a few changes though- used chicken breasts and just pan fried them. Removed the chicken and used the pan to combine garlic, balsamic, chicken stock, a little white wine and Stone Kitchen Balsamic Onions! WOW! Then poured over the chicken. I really think the premade balsamic onions were out of this world...

Sauteed Garlic Asparagus

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2007
10 minutes was definitely too long- burned the garlic and tips of asparagus, otherwise great way to prepare it!

Baked Lemon Chicken with Mushroom Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2007
Delicious! I took the advice of others and mixed a little chicken stock with white wine for the sauce. Used Wondra to thicken it up. I also browned in a little EVOO and then stuck it in the oven for about 20-25 min...came out so good!

Cornish Game Hens with Garlic and Rosemary

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2006
Really nice recipe! Great flavor...put a bunch of minced garlic in the cavity along with lemons, onion, and rosemary. Perfect timing, 425 for 25 min. then another 25 at 350. I let sit for 10 min out of the oven- delicious! Served with sweet potatoes and rice.

Candied Kielbasa

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2006
This was so yummy! I baked it as per a suggestion from another reviewer. I would only bake for 30-45 min. and keep checking. The burned ones were like little hockey pucks! Great flavor to an old standy!

Roasted Rosemary Chicken And Vegetables

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2005
I took the suggestion of another member and made two seperate marinades as raw chicken marinade for vegetables doesn't sit well with me. I also cut up the chicken which worked well. I served over brown rice.

Gyoza

We really enjoyed this recipe! I did not really measure ingredients when making this to be honest. I basically tasted as I went. I did make it vegetarian though. I combined carrot, water chestnuts, cabbage, and a teeny bit of garlic together in my food processor. I took another reviewer's advice and did not cook anything beforehand. I scooped mixture onto the wonton wrappers and pinched the side with moist fingers. Followed the directions from there and they turned out fabulous! Thanks for a great recipe- served with sushi rolls!

Chicken Tortilla Soup III

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2005
We loved this soup! What a delightful way to end a long, wintery day at work! I did make a few changes though. One ingredient that I did not have was chicken! Not a big deal at all!! I added some lime and garlic salsa from Walmart/Sam's Club, a dash of chili powder, only 1/2 cup of half and half, taco seasoning instead of fajita, and cheddar cheese. YUM!

Oven Roasted Potatoes

If you want a little more spice, try adding Old Bay seasoning (I found it near the fish aisle in my food store.) My husband adores these potatoes!

Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2003
Excellent! What a great way to use leftover rice! I was a little nervous that it was not thick enough, but as it cools, it firms. My husband and I love to top it with a little whip cream and cinnamon. YUM!
