Chicken Breasts Pierre

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2011
Awesome! Excellent taste. Followed others and combined marsala wine and low sodium soy sauce instead of water. added only 1/2 the salt. was a little salty, could be from the soy sauce. I also fried onions with the meat. Will definitely make again.

Maria's Pepper Steak

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2011
I had to add quite a few things to the recipe to make the flavor good for my family. I thought the flavor of the original recipe was to strong or bitter, so I added 1/2 can of diced tomatoes. A cap full of pepsi cola, one can of beef broth. 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, another garlic glove. After all the extra additions the meal was quite good. If I decide to make again, I will try less sugar and coca cola instead of pepsi.

E-Z Drop Biscuits

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2011
Very Nice and moist. I cut the recipe in half. I kept the sugar the same with just a tad bit more. I like my biscuits a little sweet. I did add melted butter to the tops. The only problem I had was I think the brown on the bottom much quicker than the top. I may broil a tiny bit next time. These were awesome and I did leave out the cream of tartar and I probably could have use the entire 1/4 of salt instead of 1/8 when I cut them in half.

Zucchini Cornbread Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2010
Good, but I added 1/2 egg to the already two and to me the casserole came out a little dry. Next time I will stick with the two eggs. I also added 4 dashes of red pepper, 1/4 a red bell pepper and I squeezed as much water as possible out of the zucchini. In the future, I won't squeeze out as much water. I also added one chopped jalapeno pepper, 1/2 cup of sour cream and cooked bacon. If I make again, I think I will try sausage and I might leave out the cheese and only place on the top. 4 stars because of all the additions.

Fruity Curry Chicken Salad

Excellent- added a sprinkle more of curry powder and pepper and I also squeezed about 1/4 a lime as recommended earlier. Will definitely make again. Served on mini croissants. Next time I will try a slice of cheese.

Awesome with a few additions. I cooked as recommended. I also added garlic, and 1/2 beef bullion cube. The bullion cube beefed up the taste! Definitely will make again and again. I gave it four stars because I had to add a few items to make it delicious.

Holiday Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2010
Very Tasty. I cut the recipe in half because I didn't have four cups of chicken. Left out celery and bell pepper and made about two cups of chicken that I seasoned with salt and pepper and doused with canola oil and placed on the George Forman Grill. Served on toasted wheat bread. Will try green apple next time.

Broccoli with Garlic Butter and Cashews

Awesome love the recipe. Didn't have cashews, but the broccoli was fine without it. Will make again. I used low sodium soy sauce and had to add a touch of sea salt.

Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes

This recipe is okay. Bland! I added cream and carnation milk. I also took an idea from another recipe to add steak seasoning which gave the mash a kick. I probably wouldn't make again.

Broccoli and Cauliflower Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2009
OMG! I"M IN LOVE! My family loved this recipe. I did follow others advice to double the rice and a little less butter (more than 1/4 but less than a 1/2) I used 5 wrapped slices of processed cheese food. One can of cream of chicken and mushroom soup ( Campbells sells 1 can with chicken and mushroom mixed together) added salt and pepper and garlic. Thank you for such a great recipe! My family wants it for dinner again very soon.

Pumpkin Cheesecake II

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2008
Excellent! Family loved it. I have to make another one tomorrow for another family member. For the pumpkin mixture I used a little more than 1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin spice, 1/2 of cinnamon and a just a little nutmeg for added taste. In the cream cheese mixture I used real lemon juice and little more than 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla. For the crust I used 1/2 ginger snap and graham cracker. The next time I will take the advice of another member and set the crust for 10 minutes, because I thought it was a little wet or soft. That could be from the water bath. I'm not sure. Finally, after pouring the batter in the pan I dropped the pan several times onto the counter. After placing the batter in the pan and before placing it into the water bath, I heavily wrapped the springform pan in foil. However, next time, I will try the longer foil paper because a small amount of water leaked through. The pie came out smooth as a baby's bottom not a crack in site. Love it! Thank you!

Yummy Blueberry Cobbler

Very good. A little to sweet. I would definitely reduce the sugar. I made a smaller version for two, and I think I used 1/2 the sugar. The next time I would use even less. It's worth trying again.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2006
Excellent! The cake was very moist and the chocolate goes on forever! It was a very thick. I would like it to be a little less thick, but If I can't have it that way, I would still make it again. It reminded me of a professional cake. I did have to bake it for an additonal 8 minutes. Thanks for the awesome recipe.

Bacon Wrapped Smokies

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2006
FABULOUS! Family loved them. As a matter of fact, I made 12 on the first try and had an immediate request for more. I do recommmed that they are wrapped in the bacon, then rolled in the sugar, placed onto the pan and last the toothpicks are placed in. It worked for me. :)
