AWESOME! This was so good! I also used alfredo sauce from a jar and it turned out great. Great recipe.

Cappuccino in a Jar

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2003
MMM! I dont really like coffee, but this was awesome. I recommend using hot milk instead of water for the final product. I boiled the milk and when I placed the cappuccino mix in the milk it just seemed to melt away! Great! I also made them as gifts and everyone loved them.

Chocolate Pretzels

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2003
Pretty good. The taste is awesome, but the oven version is messy and the end result is not pretty. After reading the reviews I went ahead and melted the chocolate in the microwave for about a minute as someone suggested and it worked much better. You can use any shape pretzel at that point because you are just dipping. I then placed them on a tray covered with wax paper, regrigerated them a few minutes then I boxed them. Great gifts! I made these for the people in my office!

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2003
Way to sweet! Definitely only use 1/4 of a cup of brown sugar! Other than that it was good.

Spider Cupcakes

Very cute idea. I also could not find black shoe string licorice. The red kind worked well and matched the eyes. I liked that much better.

Orange Spiced Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2003
Pretty good. I took some posted suggestions and added 3/4 cup juice and 1/4 cup soy sauce and subst. honey for sugar. I also added 1/4 tsp of chili powder. It could have used 1/2 tsp chili powder. Instead of plain OJ, I used pineapple orange juice. Yummy! It was very good.

Best Ever Cinnamon Buns

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2003
I used the cream cheese frosting instead of the sticky bun frosting and they turned out great. It was my first time working with dough that needed yeast, kneading etc. I was a little concerned with letting the dough rise, because I felt it didn't rise enough or like it was suppose to, but regardless they turned out great! I made them for work and everyone loved them.I did smash up some pecans and placed them into the rolls along with the cinnamon. Great recipe!

Homemade Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2003
Great. I used chicken quarters instead of the whole chicken and I think it was probably less messy in the long run. I strained off the foam as suggested but in the end did not strain the broth. Because they were quarters I just served the chicken with the soup. I also added potatoes and baby carrots at the end of cooking versus the begining along with the onion. Plus I added about a 1/4 of a large tomato and also added garlic salt. In the end I used a lot of salt. I am not sure if my potatoes were absorbing it, but I used about 3 tablespoons of salt! Great recipe.

Easy Peachy Cobbler Bake

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2003
Pretty good, however mine was very runny/syrup-y. I think next time I will bake it a little longer and put maybe only 1/2 of the syrup that the peaches came in. Also I used peaches in heavy syrup and used only half of the sugar instead of the 2/3 cup of sugar. Also I used regular milk instead of buttermilk and the crust portion turned out fine! Overall pretty good. like I said it was a little runny, but good!

Easy Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2003
Just ok. This turned out to be more like a peach cake then peach cobbler. Mine came out very doughy. I did add 2 tsp.'s of vanilla to the dough mixture and a tsp of cinnamon to the dough and to the peaches. I also sprinkeled about a 1/4 of a cup to brown sugar to the cobbler prior to baking at 400 degrees for one hour.
