Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2015
Terrific cookies. My husband and I have been using this recipe for years. One thing we have noticed is that different brands of pudding mix will a have a different effect on the texture of the cookies.

Very Chocolate Ice Cream

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2013
Outstanding recipe. Made this twice this week, once with heavy cream and once with half and half. No problems at all with this freezing up even with my rinky-dink little ice cream maker. I added an extra ounce of dark chocolate and extra tablespoon of cocoa to each batch. I did put this through a sieve as recommended by others and also took another's suggestion to cool it in a pan of ice water for a few minutes rather than chill for 2 hours. This is now my go to recipe for chocolate ice cream. I did use shaved ghiradelli bittersweet chocolate for the second batch...yum!

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2007
Very easy recipe. I followed the recipe exactly except for baking the rolls in a 9x13 pan. Using the dental floss to cut the rolls was a brilliant idea as was the addition of the cream cheese icing from an earlier review. I added orange extract to the icing and also plumped the raisens in the microwave with a little water before adding them to the filling. Excellent recipe!

Triple Berry Crisp

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2007
I made this with black and red raspberries from my garden and followed the recipe exactly. What a disappointment. I thought it was way too sugary and greasy...the huge amounts of butter and sugar were a tip off but I relied on others comments and decided to try this anyway. I normally eat a very healthy diet, low fat and low sugar. What a waste of fresh berries!

Sage Pork Chops

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2006
Excellent! I made a couple changes as suggested by others. I cut the salt in half and added 1 teaspoon of garlic powder to the spice mix. I also let the chops "marinate" for a couple hours before cooking. My last change was to use olive oil instead of butter and also use only half the amount called was more than enough. I also made gravy. Delish! Hubby went back for seconds so this recipe is already going into regular rotation. A very easy, quick, healthy and flavorful dish. Thanks!!!

Zucchini Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2003
Outstanding! And I really adjusted the topping so it would fit my dietary restrictions.(Usually the result is so-so but not for this recipe!) I used Equal in place of all the sugar and doubled the cinnamon. I used oat flour, whole oats, oat bran, butter buds and applesauce for the topping. I did halve the topping ingredients as suggested by others and it worked out great. My version worked out to two and a half points on the weight watcher plan and that was for one large portion. OOOOOOOOOOOOO it's so good!!!
