Balsamic Vinegar and Olive Oil Dressing

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2012
This is so simple and delicious. Used just a little less balsamic vinegar and added salt and ground pepper.

Chocolate Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2013
I just had to try these brownies out of curiosity I guess. The brownie recipe I have been using forever takes 1/2 cup of butter and these took 1/4 cup of oil. I did add an extra tablespoon of cocoa and baked them for 20 minutes. I thought they were very good, with fewer calories, and next time I will only bake for 18 minutes.

Sandwich Thins-reduced sugar

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2013
Wow, thank you for an awesome recipe. I did use half whole wheat and half bread flour. I let my bread machine do the mixing and kneading. I even sprinkled some oatmeal on the tops after brushing with water. They are better than store bought for a fraction of the cost. I will be making these regularly.

Honey Of An Oatmeal Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2013
This bread is excellent. I have made it two days in a row. I did use one cup of white whole wheat flour and the rest bread flour. It is such a moist loaf with just the right amount of sweetness. I will be making this often.

Irish Soda Farl

I just had to try this interesting recipe. I did make my own self-rising flour and shaped the dough into six rounds and baked at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. I was not disappointed. They were quite good.

Amazing Slow Cooker Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2013
This cake turned out great. I just did half of the recipe. I put it in my almost 44 year old Rival crock pot on low and it was done in 2 hrs. and 15 min. Very moist. Delicious with a little vanilla ice cream on the side. I will definitely make again.

Banana Wake-Up Bars

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2013
These are so good. The only change I made was to use ground flax seed instead of wheat germ. I like that they are low in sugar. I will make these often.

Nany's White Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2013
Just found this recipe last night and had to make it today. I love these old fashioned cakes like I made when I was very young. They still taste the best to me. I let my KA cream the butter and sugar for 3 or 4 minutes, then beat well after each egg was added. The texture of this cake is so light, certainly not dense or heavy. I frosted this cake with fudgy frosting and it is delicious. Thanks, Megan, for a great recipe that will be made often.

Boiled Water

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2013
Seth, I can't thank you enough for this awesome recipe. After a very busy day at work, I'm sure you know what that's like, I completely forgot about the pot luck supper I had to go to tonight. Doesn't that always happen. I quickly got on my favorite site, allrecipes.com to look for something quick, delicious and easy to make, when I stumbled upon your recipe. I knew that was something my family and I would really enjoy and hoping the other guest would also enjoy. I did not "tweak" the recipe at all. Everyone loved it and that made me feel really good. At least a dozed people asked for the recipe, and no one else brought the same thing. You know what it's like when other guest bring the same thing, after you go thru all the effort to make it. A five star recipe for sure.

Tropical Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2013
This is a delicious muffin. I did tweak it a little. I added 1/2 teaspoon of salt and did not add the ginger or cinnamon. I just wanted the flavor of the bananas, pineapple and coconut. I also did not add any milk. The batter was perfect for muffins without milk. Maybe it's because I did not drain the pineapple. Made 12 large yummy muffins. Thank you for the recipe Cheerios.

This is so easy and delicious. Hard to believe you are not eating real toffee. Chocolate chips did not melt as quickly as I thought they would. Next time I might melt them in the microwave instead. Thanks for the great recipe Alice.

Eileen's Spicy Gingerbread Men

These are very good gingerbread people. I did use butter instead of margarine. I decreased the cloves to 1/2 teaspoon. I made some crisp and some soft. They were so cute after I decorated them. Will make again for sure,

Divinity

This is perfect divinity. So easy to make with a KA mixer. I did use pecans instead of walnuts. Certainly didn't take 12 hours to get firm and did not have to turn over. Have made this twice now.

Springerle IV

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2013
My first time to make springerle. Couldn't wait to use my new rolling pin and mold set. These taste just like I remember them from many years ago. I did not change the recipe at all. I got the baking ammonia from a baking supply store. They are still good after being in a cookie tin for four weeks. Thank you for the recipe Jenny.

Cocoa Crisps

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2013
I really like these cookies. I just used 2 cups of old fashioned oatmeal instead of porridge oats. I did add 1 teaspoon of vanilla. I am glad they are not too sweet. I know we will enjoy these with our morning coffee. I used a large scoop and got 24 large cookies. I know I will make again. Thank you for the recipe, Cheerios.

No Bake Cookies III

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2013
I think this is the same recipe I used over 50 years ago. They are still just as good and always turn out great. I have never heard of anyone who doesn't like them. I do cut back just a little on the sugar and use butter in place of margarine. I also like to add about 1/2 cup of coconut. Yum.

Oma's Cottage Cheesecake

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2013
I have made this cheesecake twice recently. The first time I didn't change anything, except omit the cinnamon, and we loved it. The next time I made it with my homemade Greek yogurt instead of cottage cheese and added the zest of 1/2 lemon. It was delicious this time also. Both times I topped it with cherry pie filling. Thank you Sheryl K. for the recipe.
