Easy Mexican Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2007
Went down well, I chose to jazz up the beef mince also, using the recomended Taco seasoning, onion, garlic, corn etc... put less Doritos on the bottom, they did go a bit soggy but they blended in and the flavour was there. Mince on top then a thin layer of lite sour cream sprinkled on chopped tomato green onion and grated chese and into the oven to brown. Not a speck left.

Kathy's Delicious Whole Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2007
Reasonable flavour, but 8 hours is to long to cook a bird the breast was so dry they were inedible. Will try again much less cooking time (2 hrs)

Rather enjoyed this and so did my 14 year old. I didn't have any fresh ginger so I used garlic, tasty. Thankyou.

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2006
Wow, I took some advice from other reviewers and cut down on the cayenne however that is a matter of taste. I did add some finely diced green capsicum to the mushrooms and garlic while sauteing. I did not fill the mushroom cups to much and used lge mushrooms to use them as a side dish. Thankyou for this lovely recipe.

Great, I cooked mine in an oven bag to enhance the flavour and avoid the marinade burning. Have made this several times.

Scalloped Corn and Broccoli

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2006
I thought this was a nice change with broccoli. As suggested in the reviews I cut down on the sugar next time I won't use sugar at all as it is naturally sweet.

Great recipe, have made it twice now. I recommend salting the water before cooking and adding the vegetables you can make some tasty variations. Great recipe Anne, thanks.

Curried Coconut Chicken

Reviewed: May 14, 2004
Lovely, although I think it's a crime to cook breast fillets for so long as they tend to dry out, a little less cooking time will be my option next time.

Best Ever Popcorn Balls

Reviewed: May 12, 2004
Ooey, gooey, sticky, tacky, messy job. kids loved them. I found waiting for the mixture to cool made them easier to form into balls. I also made them golf ball size, considering the sweetness I thought that would be big enough.

Cocktail Meatballs

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2003
They are cocktail meatballs, not for a main meal the sauce is to sweet but great to poke a toothpick into and have one or two the sauce does wonders for the ground beef.
