Bacon Oatmeal Breakfast Cookies With Maple Glaze

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2012
AWESOME!!! My husband did not want to believe me when I told him it has bacon in it. He took some to work and everybody loved them! I sticked exactly with the recipe except I did not form small balls of dough but dropped the dough on the sheet with 2 tablespoons and flattened with a fork. Worked out well. The recipe is definitely a keeper!

Kristy's Lasagna

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2012
Good basic recipe! I added some ground pepper and sugar to the sauce to give it some more flavor. The lasagna was tasty but next time I will either increase the amount of sauce or decrease the amount of noodles. For my taste there was not enough sauce for the noodles.

Broiled Parmesan-Lemon Tilapia

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2012
Yummy! I thought that the strong flavor of the parmesan might be to overpowering for the tilapia but it turned out to be really good. I only seasoned the fish with salt, pepper and lemon juice and added some breadcrumbs to the cheese blend, it gave it a nice crunch.

Baked Oatmeal II

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2012
Nice change to the typical oatmeal. I also used 1/2 cup brown sugar and apple sauce instead of butter. Instead of cranberries I put in raisins and chopped walnuts. Served it in a bowl with milk. Will make that again. It's healthy, filling and really yummy.

Fluffy French Toast

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2012
Awesome. I used cinnamon-raisin bread and topped with syrup and fresh fruit. Egg-mixture was enough to soak 9 slices of bread, with was plenty for us.

Cranberry Banana Oat Bread

Reviewed: May 14, 2012
That is some yummy banana bread! I "healthyfied" the recipe and used whole-wheat flour, applesauce instead of butter and added 1/2 cup chopped walnuts. The bread is moist and the tartness of the cranberries compliments well the sweetness of the bananas. Will sure make that again!

Easy Granola Bars

Soooo good! Little high calories but at least I know what is in them. I made two different kinds: Banana-Walnut-Chocolate and Apricot-Almond-Chocolate. Both turned out to be delicous and I will definitely make them again!

Eggplant Parmesan II

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2012
Yummy! I did not peel the eggplant and used less bread crumbs for just a light breading. Still turned out really good. Even my meatloving husband enjoyed it. I made enough for 2 meals and served it once with penne pasta and once with couscous. Delish!

Whole Wheat Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2012
I made some slight changes to the recipe: I used 2/3cup plain non-fat yogurt instead of the oil and reduced the sugar to 1/2cup. I used frozen blueberries because I didn't have any fresh ones but I was craving muffins and wanted to get something healthy at the same time. This recipe is perfect! My muffins came out soft and moist and very blueberry :) My husband told me before "I don't like muffins" and after taking a huge bite he said "that's like the best blueberry muffin I've ever tasted!"

Beef Tips and Noodles

I used beef stew meat and lots of fresh mushrooms and threw everything in the slow cooker. It was soooo good. The bites of meat were so tender that they fell apart. Thanks for a great recipe!

Southwest Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2012
I diced the chicken breast and used plain diced tomatoes and no cumin, therefore I added a package of taco seasoning. I served it with rice and sour cream and shredded cheese for topping. My husband couldn't get enough of it!

Easy Batter Fruit Cobbler

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2012
That was sooo good! I took some advice from previous reviews and reduced the butter to 2 Tbs and the sugar to 1/2 cup. I used 6 small ripe peaches and it turned out delicious! Thanks for a quick, easy and yummy recipe!
