Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2012
Yummmm! Followed a few other reviews: added taco seasoning to meat (pack & a half), used salsa instead of taco sauce, doubled up the tortilla layers & made 2 8x8 pans...turned out fantastic! Will be adding this recipe into my regular rotation. Going to try ground turkey or chicken next time & I'm sure it will be just as good.

California Grilled Veggie Sandwich

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2012
Yummm! These were some tasty sandwiches! Of course I had to change a few things like 1 less garlic clove in the mayo, added some grilled eggplant & instead of the feta I used fresh mozzarella, it was fantastic!

Sufferin' Succotash Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 15, 2012
This was a very tasty salad. The idea of uncooked corn was a little weird to me but when everything was mixed (I used Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce which I love) the taste came together fantastically.

Blonde Brownies I

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2013
O.M.Gosh...These are the BEST blondies ever, hands down. So simple yet so tastey. I've made a single recipe & i've doubled it with no problems (just cooked it a bit longer.) I may NEVER make chocolate chip cookies ever again. The only thing i've done different than the recipe is i only add enough chocolate chips to just barely cover the top. To be honest, i don't even think these blondies need them! YUM!!!

Soft Christmas Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2013
Awesome! this was the 1st recipe i've ever tried to make roll out cookies and i'm sticking with it! i did follow the other reviewers and only used 3 c flour and used butter (butter is better!) Oh, i also used powered sugar instead of flour to roll out the cookies. i heard that tip somewhere and it worked great. Great recipe.

Chef John's Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2013
This was a very easy & VERY GOOD recipe. Had some left over Easter ham cause how much ham can one really eat? Anyway, followed the recipe but added 2 more carrots & 2 more ribs of celery to amp up the veggies. I also subbed more chicken stock/broth for the water. I will be making this one again!

Sarah's Rice Pilaf

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2013
Great side. Just the right amount of flavor to compliment baked chicken & fish dishes. Would be great mixed with sauteed spinach or kale.

Cheddar Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2013
This recipe was easy to follow and turned out very good. The chicken was tasty. I did not use the butter to coat the pan (just sprayed olive oil.) Yummm!
