Salsafied Chicken and Rice
I made this recipe tonight and it was a huge hit with my husband and 17-year old son. I did make a few adjustments similar to those I read in other reviews. I added one package of taco mix to add some flavor, I used a 16 oz jar of salsa, and substituted instant brown rice vs white rice. I did have to add about a cup of add'l water and simmer for about 15 minutes to make sure the rice cooked all the way through. Then I topped with the cheese (I used about half the amount the recipe called for) and served once melted. I served with homemade guacamole and sour cream. This will become a regular meal in our house. Thanks for sharing.

Hungarian Goulash I
This recipe was a big hit in my house tonight. I did make a few minor adjustments. I couldn't find Hungarian or sweet paprika so I used regular paprika and then just added a couple of tablespoons of brown sugar. I used canola oil instead of vegetable oil and used half of the amount called for (1/3 cup seemed like too much to me). I also added a beef boullion cube to the water and eliminated the extra salt. Served over extra broad egg noodles lightly buttered. Yum! I will most definitely make this again.

Baked Pork Chops I
This is a favorite in our house. I have altered the recipe just slightly. I use two cans of soup; one can of cream of mushroom and one can of roasted garlic cream of mushroom. My family likes to have some of the sauce to put over the rice or egg noodles that we usually make to accompany this great dish. My family also prefers the sauce with all milk, so no white wine.
