About this Cook
I love to sip a glass of wine and play with recipes in my kitchen. My Husband and three kids are my tasters. My son Nick shown in one of my pics has also grown a love for cooking. For the most part I enjoy healthy cooking, but I definitely appreciate a rich sauce, or a decadent sweet.
My favorite things to cook
Everything! I love to try different ethnic dishes as well as our traditional meals. I also like to experiment with recipes that use fruits and vegetables grown from my garden or local farmers gardens.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Snow Crab Legs and Filet Mignon on Christmas Eve. Baked Ziti on Christmas Day. Appetizers on New Years Day. Breakfast Casserole on Easter Morning.
My cooking triumphs
Baked Zit and Lasagna. My Family and Friends love it, and that makes me very happy!
My cooking tragedies
Flat chocolate chip cookies that stuck to the pan. forgot to check the expiration date on my baking soda! Uhg! Also I like a lot of heat in my food and once in a while I go a little overboard.

Ham and Hash Brown Quiche
My Family of 5 loved it! Very easy to make. The first time I made only one quiche, and there wasn't quite enough. The second time I made 2 and we only had 1 piece left. Great meal for any day of the week.

Balsamic Baked Tilapia
This was perfect for my husband's low carb diet he has been on. I didn't have blue cheese so I used feta. The combination of balsamic vinegar with the cheese and mixed greens really makes for a nice tilapia salad.
