Nine years in the navy & 3 years in the army. 26 years as a food service supervisor. 66 years old, married, retired and loving it. Just remolded our kitchen and cooking is more fun than ever.

Just about anything, southern, seafood, Italian, stews, anything I can create and is unique to my own style.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Southern. My father was from Alabama my mother from Virginia both grew up on farms. They were both excellent cooks and I spent many hours watching and learning. My mother made the best apple pie ever made.
My cooking triumphs
Cooking for the cooks who were cooking for the Vietnamese refugees. Hard work in 110 degree + kitchen. Fifteen hour days seven days a week. Tough work but we were rewarded with happy customers and recommendation from the higher ups. Thanks Ron Tedder you taught me alot.
My cooking tragedies
None that comes to mind.
