Creamy Dill Cucumber Toasties

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2012
I had a Tea Party this weekend to promote my cakes, candies and other treats I sell, and these babies were as big (if not bigger) a hit as the sweets! Everyone wanted to know how I made them and were shocked to hear how super simple they were to make. I will be adding these to my list of "popular party foods"! So Yum!

Roasted Vegetables

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2006
I love using this recipe. I add carrots and keep all the other vegetables including the sweet potatoes in the recipe. I also add green pepper and I chop fresh parsley and mix it in when the vegetables are done roasting. It is scrumptious!

Banana Pudding IV

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2006
I will never make any other kind again! I got a hug from a stranger who after eating it, told me he was from Georgia and had tasted a lot of good banana pudding but never had tasted anything so perfect! He told me that everyone who had tasted it wanted me as their wife, mother, sister, or new best friend! Who knew banana pudding could make you so popular?!

Rosemary Mashed Potatoes and Yams

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2006
I made this dish for a group of 64 college students, when we saw there plares, ther was nothing left of the potatoes. I added extra rosemary, and used kosher salt and coarse ground pepper to step up the flavor. I then added just a little brown sugar to enhance the yams. It tasted "savory sweet", and complemented the rest of the meal nicely.

Connie's Zucchini "Crab" Cakes

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2004
these have been certified as very good by all who tried mine! if you'd like to "kick it up" with spice, add Mortons Hot Salt, and reduce the amount of Old Bay just a tad.

Deep Fried Dill Pickles

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2004
it is an acquired taste, but my son and I acquired it quickly! Still can't sell my daughter or husband on how great they are. I made these at my job,(I'm a cook at a shelter) and 90% of the folks loved them! it has become a delicacy for my son and me. Omit the cornmeal, it's really not needed.

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2003
THESE WERE SOO WONDERFUL! I DON'T MAKE COOKIES OFTEN CAUSE MOST RECIPES HAVE DISAPPOINTED ME, BUT THESE ARE PREMIUM. I USED ONE OF MY SMALLEST ICE CREAM SCOOPERS (EQUALS ABOUT A TABLESPOON) THEY CAME OUT PERFECTLY SIZED AND ROUND (STORE BOUGHT SIZE) I'LL USE NUTS AND CHOC. CHIPS NEXT TIME. I SUBBED CAKE SPICE FOR CLOVE AN I ALSO SUBBED BUTTER FLAVORING INSTEAD OF VANILLA.
